This bar is a local bar/restaurant that was established in 1932. It has a fun and freindly environment for all. We have a wide variety of patrons, locally and world wide. Current owners Wally and Lori aka Big Mama have owned this establishment since 2007 and have many returning clients and welcome new ones . Both owners are military veterans and welcome all veterans to their establishment. Bar hours from 11am-2am although when business is slow may close early. Restaurant is current hours: Wednesday -Saturday 5-9 and offers Hamburger and Sandwiches and nightly specials.

Bloody Mary's are delicious. I had the hickory smoked steak. Cooked over charcoal and hickory smoke wood. It's worth the 25 minutes wait to have this! Salad bar and appetizer plate available. The housemade artichoke and jalapeño dipping sauce is SO good I even put it on my fries. I enjoy the atmosphere in the Longbranch anytime I'm there.

Heres a touch of the old west. The owners reach out and invite you in. Big Momma saw that. I was a vetern and reach out her hand to shake mine a said welcome home. Something I very much appreciated. They only serve steaks which Ilene and I shared, it was the best in the west Thanks to the Longhorn staff and Big Momma.

I love the town of Ennis, and I had a most great fun time here. The live music was awesome and the chicken sandwich was delicious.

Wow! Just wow! The salad bar is mission sensor lights. Thought about not eating dinner but the cook outside said bro it’s steak tonight not bbq… instantly let for, but he assured me worth it… Then Big mama fed me some steak straight out of her hand. If that wasn’t worth it alone the actual steak, salad bar, plus curly wedges??? where do you find curly wedges!?!? And green beans, and a surprise artichoke dip (yes full spread pita, peppers, peas, chips) for $45 worth it.

Bartender charged $4.25 for an ultra (beer). Poster in woman's bathroom said $3.50. Showed the bartender and he ripped it off the wall and said , "I don't use the woman's bathroom". Rude! I only wanted him to know that there was certainly a difference in what was printed and what was charged. Bartender name was Jerry. Sorry Jerry but that's not how you do business

Service was slow but the staff was friendly. We ordered our meals and got them in adequate time. The portions could be bigger. Ordered a side of onion rings and a side of fries to go. Took 40 minutes to get them and was very disappointed. Literally 5 onion rings and less fries that actually came with the meals. The fries didnt even cover the bottom of the to go container. To be honest, I should have just gotten my money back for the sides. Neat place. Probably a great place to come and drink.

Family dinner tonite, visiting from Maryland. The owner and staff were awesome. The chef took the time to check in on those who were seated, obviously caring about their experience. All of the food (burgers, BLT, the chicken special and various apps) was delicious. I would trade all of the French-trained chefs who have cooked for me over the years for someone who actually cares about the customer dining experience. This was an easy five stars.

As a former employee who worked here for almost 2 years, I can safely say that this is NOT friendly to staff members. It is a fun place to hang out and get drinks for sure! Big Mama (one of the owners) gives away bottles upon bottles of free alcohol to those who are regulars and also give her attention, whether they be newcomers, tourists, or seasonal guests, which is fun and gets people to come in! Beware of working for this company. She has ran off some of her best workers due to jealousy as she needs to be the star of the show. I commend Wally for his efforts and want to preserve the business and continuation be a great influence on it and keeping it in wonderful working condition. If you are looking to work here however, proceed with caution as Big Mama has a tendency to allow theft, ill bavior between coworkers, gossiping, and actively has secret outbursts at employees amongst other things which she says to not talk about amongst ourselves. I love my locals and wish I was still working there just to see their faces and interact with them but, unfortunately, the poor management and animosity caused me to leave less than a year ago. The blatant disrespect and tongue lashings and empty promises to improve the workplace environment that she has given to myself and others (now post employees that I've seen driven away by her conduct, I will not mention the multiple names) is an unhealthy work environment. If you would like a good time for when you're in town, by all means, please do show your support for locals businesses! Do bear in mind the lack of respect that your bartenders and kitchen staff are put through and if you see something, say something.
