Parker's is one of those longtime restaurant go-to's on the highway outside of Ashland, Nebraska. Casual with bar, good variety of smoked brisket, ribs and chicken along with hamburgers. We enjoy that they continue the steakhouse tradition of the tea candle light on each table. Friday- Saturday smoked prime rib in addition to their regular prime rib. The smoke in the prime rib was mild, meat cooked rare as requested. The romano potatoes with melted cheese delicious as were my companions sweet potato fries. BE SURE to experience their sweet cornbread muffins that come with your order-who needs dessert! It's waiting area furniture needs some care but we went for the food and the ambiance of an era when steakhouses were king.

First let me start off by saying I am from the south and we know good BBQ, but this place blew my mind. This was the best BBQ we had ever had. My husband and I ordered the combo for 2 and my goodness it’s enough for 4 people so we have lunch for tomorrow and then some. The brisket was so tender it just fell apart and the ribs are to die for, I mean to die for. The seasoning was so good and the meat just fell off the bone. For our sides we got coleslaw, potato salad and baked beans. All of them were very good but the baked beans were amazing!!!!!!! The sweet tea was awesome. The Bloody Mary looked amazing so I had to try one, but it was just okay. On the table they provided BBQ sauces, mustard based, sweet and a spicy one. All were delicious. The service was very friendly and fast. We will definitely go back when we visit family again!

This restaurant is top ten for me. They have a great selection on their menu and the meats are wonderfully bar-b-qued. I usually get the rib ends naked. They are so good I don't need any sauce. The sides are just as good, and they even have steamed vegetables. This place is very popular on the weekends, but you won't be disappointed if you wait.

The catfish appetizer is the best I've ever had. It's super crunchy and flavorful. The sauce is even great! We ordered half of the platter for myself and husband. It included brisket, ribs, chicken, slaw, beans, cinnamon apples and corn muffins. The brisket and slaw were just ok, not flavorful. The ribs were good, beans and corn muffins and apples. Would definitely come back. Plenty of food for future meals. The star for me was the catfish and corn muffins. Definitely good food!

We’re OTR truckers and delighted to have found Parker’s Smokehouse. Felt welcome as soon as we opened the front door. Our server, Jessica, was extremely attentive, kind and friendly. The manager, Scott, was very welcoming, generous and professional. The food was excellent! The legendary chili was very tasty, the ribs were super tender, the pulled pork was moist and flavorful. We ordered a slice of carrot cake to go but took a peek and a nibble of it and it’s one of the best we’ve tasted in a long time…spicy (like spice cake) and moist! It was a great experience so we’ll definitely go back when we’re in the area.

It's hard writing a bad review for a place you've frequented for years, but we've watched both Parker's locations go downhill recently. Here's our last visit: 1. I ordered the soup & salad special and wings and asked for all the food to come out together. Waitress didn't put wings on the order. So I had to remind her, and we got the wings well after finishing the rest of the food. 2. Note to waitress: don't put a dirty sharing plate down in front of the customer, scrape the dirt off with your fingernail, and then still give it to the customer. 3. No one checked back on us to see how any of our food was. So our drinks were empty until a manager stopped by after the wings had arrived. 4. I ordered the milder Cajun wings but got wings much hotter than the Hot Cajun wings. I stopped eating after 4 of the 12 wings when a manager asked how they were. When I explained that I got the wrong wings, she asked if it was still a pleasurable experience. I said, "No," and the manager's response was that she couldn't see what the problem was but would look into what the cook had done. End of story.

Holy Cow, Pig and Chicken, this place is amazing! My wife and I were traveling from Lincoln to Omaha, got hungry, and pulled off the interstate for lunch. We Goggled nearby restaurants and discovered Parker's Smokehouse. The instant you walk in and take a whiff of the smoked meats, you know you are in for a treat. After scanning their extensive menu, my wife and I both ordered the Pit Master sandwich. This will fill even the emptiest of stomachs. The combination of Texas beef brisket, Georgia pulled pork and chunks of hot link sausage is incredible. The service and management were friendly and care deeply for their customers. So, if you are looking for great food, service and prices, skip the interstate and drive up Highway 6 to Ashland, NE. It is Well worth the drive. I know I have found a new BBQ home!

Even the side salad was awesome! Stopped here after a long drive from Denver. The Smoked Prime rib was excellent with the corn bread muffin and Romano Potatos recommended by our waitress. A great find on Google maps. Atmosphere is kinda plain, but who cares with a great meal.
