I wasn’t sure if my water was watered down Mountain Dew. There’s something off about the tap water. Appetizers were akin to a run down bowling alley snack shack. And good luck chewing the calamari, you’ll be sitting there for an eternity. Came from an hour away and I think we could have settled for one of the dive bars in the poconos. Not what my family and I were expecting. My steak was good (cooked to temp) no flavor in anything though. I understand herbs would go bad without business but portions are huge.

Wings are insanely tiny. Embarrassing when ordering for visitors. Customer for 30 years before. Definitely premature chickens. Reach out anytime to discuss. Get chicken wings up to par with lobster. Sounds reasonable. Right?

Terrible.. hamburgers dry and flavorless. Steamers tiny & sandy. Your little kids have to pay for minimum drinks.. no water, they charge you. Waitress upgrades everything to deluxe even if you don't order.. be careful. Needed change and approached bartender and staff who were hanging out. they told me to wait for my waitress. Will not be back. place has gone way down hill.

Great food and a neat atmosphere. I went for a birthday party with 30 people. The service, food and drinks were all excellent even with that many people. They had a fixed menu for us but some folks went off the menu and it was no problem. The wings were great!

Nice casual place in a beautiful country setting. You have your choice of dining inside the bar area, inside the main dining room in the back of the restaurant, or outside on the patio. It was a hot day so we sat inside the main dining room with the AC. Descent food and good service. Although the place wasn't crowded when we were there on Wednesday so I cant say how the service would be with a large crowd there. We were a party of 3. We ordered 2 lobster bisque soups and one shrimp cocktail for appetizers. The bisque was very good. The shrimp cocktail was a standard shrimp cocktail. Nothing special about it. For our entrees we ordered 2 dozen steamers which looked more like 3 or 4 dozen. A very generous amount. And 3 very large 20oz rib eye steaks that were grilled perfectly and extremely tender. The steamers came with one of the steak dinners and were also very good. The steaks came with a baked potato and string beans. The strings were obviously out of a can which was surprising. Everything else was fresh so the veggie should be too. Besides that the only other suggestion I would make about the food is to create some sort of signature marinade or seasoning for their steaks to make them their own. Even though the cuts and freshness of the steaks were excellent, there was nothing special about the taste. Nothing memorable that leaves you wanting to run back for more. We also had 5 bottles of beer. 2 Heineken, 2 Yuengling, and 1 Michelob. The bill totaled $178. Not bad considering the amount of food and beers we had, the quality of the steaks, and the high cost of inflation everyone is dealing with today. But the reason I am giving Pub 517 four stars and not five isn't because of the food, the service, or the prices. It's because they don't accept credit cards! In a place where the average bill is over $100 they really should accept credit cards. I mean really.... Even fast food places accept credit cards. It was a good thing they had a working ATM inside the bar because I had no cash on me and I didn't notice the cash only signs on the wall until after we ordered. Could have been embarrassing......

Food looks great but food has no flavor at all is unflavored food, didn't like it. Service was good, the place looks good , clean and alot space , the patio still no open though. But tge none flavor on the food is the reason why I only give 3 starts, I won't try it again.

4 people, $500. "Market value" for a simple serving of king crab legs, 2 dozen clams & a baked potato =$85. (we knew the prices when we ordered, so it wasn't the bill that made my review 2 stars, we ordered drinks, apps, add ons and dessert). The food was fine, our waitress Natalie, was amazing and VERY attentive. As we finished our meal it was close to closing time and we were one of 2 tables there. The bartender made it VERY clear she wanted us out, (she rushed us out, her car was already running and she turned the outside lights off on us as we walked outside, our friend is disabled and needed to use the ramp, in the dark) it made a very expensive, nice meal end on a poor note. When a restaurant is as empty as this one was on a Tuesday night, I can't imagine treating a guest this rudely. We will not be in any hurry to return. There are many other restaurants that are eager for business, especially in this current economy.

The calamari were amazing! It is difficult to find the perfect cooked calamari and this place had them! Malibu Bay breeze too sweet whiskey sour was great. Mozzarella sticks were amazing! Steak salad was great! Potato skins were very good. Service was super fast. Servers were very attentive at all times. View in the evening of the sunset was perfect. No complaints will definitely return again! Price was definitely worth it!

Food was delicious, pricing was a little high but the food was definitely worth it. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and funny. Would definitely go back even with the higher pricing. Very much worth the trip .

Busy pub atmosphere. Owner and staff were very nice. I had a salad, tasty but I thought very expensive for what it was. Others in my group had steaks and lobster. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Steaks come with baked potato and veggie. Lobster comes with baked potato. 3 people had clams (which they all said were delicious) & we had a shrimp cocktail and an order of onion rings for the table 4 dinners, 3 clams, onion rings, 2 sodas, 2 waters, 3 desserts. Bill was about $50 a person just an fyi.
