My dentist told me id have to have a tooth extracted and due to the pain I needed this done ASAP. On top of that I travel for work in 4 days. I ended up in Dr. Barbieri @ NJ Oral Surgery in Ridgefield, NJ. Well, I struck GOLD! The man pulled my tooth and I can honestly say, I hardly felt any pain or REAL discomfort. Hey, having a tooth pulled is no fun, no way around it, but this Dr. Meade it easy!

Hello I am extremely upset and disappointed with how my surgery was handled First off it took approximately 6 months to get my insurance contacted by your receptionist. She claims they were unable to reach out to my medical insurance but when I had finally called and gotten the insurance is taken care of the health insurance representatives had explained nobody had reached out to them. So after it taking 6 months I finally got the surgery. Second, when the surgery finally took place a couple days afterwards I had a dry socket and I had contacted your receptionist at the Hackensack location to explain I was in pain and she said a medical assistant would reach out to me that day on Monday this never happened so I had called again on Wednesday to explain I was feeling a lot of pain from my dry socket during my wisdom tooth extraction. Even after this first dressing I was feeling pain after then I ended up coming back for another visit two days later on a Friday for a second dressing unfortunately that second dressing had popped out 3 hours after it was put in and I was in pain for the weekend trying to reach out to your answering service who tried to reach out to your on-call surgeon who never responded for the weekend It is now Monday June 13th and I had reached out to the Hackensack office only to be told that I have to continue to wait until 3:00 p.m. today to be seen because there are other surgeries ahead of mine discounting my pain and frustration over the weekend I am really disappointed in how your receptionists had handled my surgery and how my post visits have been mishandled.

Today was my first visit to NJ Oral Surgery and Dr. Barbieri and his supportive staff couldn’t have been nicer. They took me in shortly after arriving, examined me, and I left with that comfortable feeling that I was in good hands. I was referred to them by an outstanding dentist and wonderful human being, Dr. Schiraldi in Secaucus. I am so looking forward to my oral situation being repaired and eating in confidence once again.

Dr. Berardo did a fine job looking over my teeth and jaw. He carefully explained the details of my condition and was not in a hurry. He give me some good recommendations as to what to do as the next step, and he offered his opinions with whichever doctor I will be seeing. Dr Dennis Barbieri takes the fear out having to have any work done . Him an his staff makes you feel comfortable while your having to go through what most of us feel is the scariest time. They are the best. They are all very professional always very friendly an Dr Dennis Barbieri is the very best at what he does. I'm the biggest scaredy cat there is. He makes my fears go away. Great place! I needed my wisdom tooth extracted BAD! This was the only place available. They didn't make me wait a week, like other places did. The whole staff were very friendly, including the doctor. I was in and out in less than an hour. Couldn't be happier

Upon arrival you can tell everything is nice and neat, it smelled really decent. As I was getting my X-rays done in the beginning, the medical assistant was great, very attentive and very soft spoken :) the doctor was very nice, he explained everything thoroughly. Very glad I was referred here :) will definitely leave my teeth in his hands 🙌🏽
