Very friendly staff and it was nice to be greeted by the owners. Quaint atmosphere and excellent food. A little pricey but overall well worth it. Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More

I keep having bad experiences with this place. First I asked for a Margherita pizza. It's not on the menu, but they were kind enough to make it for me anyway. But then they charged me $30 for it. $30 for a pizza. Mozzarella, sauce, dough, basil. All ingredients they have on hand readily available. $30. After a time I went back and ordered a Chicken Parm sub and fries. When I got there I sat there for 15 ish minutes while the lady behind the counter and the gentleman making pizzas walked by my ready to go order many times. I finally stood up and asked "excuse me is that my food" then they finally gave it to me. By the time I got it home the sub was luke warm and the fries cold and soggy. Just today I tried again and sat in line for 15 minutes while they took other orders and were chatting it up with someone they knew. I finally walked out without even placing my order. Don't get me wrong, they have good homemade food that is mostly fresh and from scratch. But I have given up on them. I used to eat here all the time with my late grandmother, but I'm done giving them my money.

Best pizza in Salem. Very very good. Recommend the cheese steak hoagie pizza! Absolutely banging! Amazing! Gotta try it.

I like the place I really do. But 45.96 for a Stromboli and medium pizza??? 3 dollars for a half a cup of side sauce. I was completely shocked. I think thier pasta dishes are excellent but the price increases are a bit excessive. I get inflation and fuel prices and I've seen increases elsewhere but no to this extreme. Unfortunately for a family of four this place is out of the question now. People have been saying its overly expensive and the dinning room was almost empty on a Saturday evening. They need to find a way to efficiently and effectively trim some costs and not just pass it on to the customers. A pound of pasta is still under 3 bucks.

Went with family for a nice sit down dinner and it was a great experience with friendly hosts and the owner who visited the table. The fresh bread to start was on par with fancy restaurants out in LA. The red sauce was a little sweet for my liking, but the eggplant Parm was solid and thin, which makes for much better taste and well rounded texture. The salad pizza is a slapper, but feels more like salad and bread sticks than pizza as the pizza was mostly crust and no real amounts of cheese. That made it a bit crusty and harder to fold and collect the salad, but the salad was well dressed and tasty and worked well with the bread. I wish they actually served the pizza beer they have on display. Great ambiance. If the sauce was not as sweet and the salad pizza more well portioned with the pizza side of the ingredients, this would have been 5 stars.

Pizza as sublime as the best Little Italy or Lower East Side pizza you'll find. Thin crust, but crispy out of the oven, a delicate tomatoe sauce, and fresh mozzarell... fantastic pizza in one of Jersey's oldest towns.

Just moved into the area, took my 2 boys here for dinner. Food was delicious. My one son said it was the best panzerotti he has ever had. Great food and very friendly people. Will be frequently visiting here a lot in the future.

PANZAROTTIS!! I am a unabashed lover of panzarottis. I have been driving up to Levittown, NOT anymore!! Owner and staff are welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Beautiful little restaurant, amazing menu. Especially loved how attentive and patient staff is with the elderly customers. Stop in and enjoy! Thank you Mama Mia's!!

I love Mama Mia's, Gino is the best pizza maker in south jersey. Been enjoying his pizza for many many years and im glad I found him making pies here. No wonder everyone from the area has been telling me how great the food is here. I absolutely agree. I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.
