Very nice gym. Was working in the area and decided to do a drop in. Very clean and all the equipment was in great condition. Nicole, the lady at the counter was very nice. I'll definitely be stopping in the next time I'm in this area

Complete & stress free gym. Gym is very clean. Staff is friendly. Celsius drinks/water is always stocked. Gym goers mind their own business and do not hog gym areas. Anyone will give a spot if needed. They work with Pinelands High school special needs students and allow them to use their facility which is absolutely incredible. Kudos to ownership/mgmt!

Place still needs a deep cleaning, but it has improved. Love the people. Good times in the morning. Thankful the gym is here.

Great gym, clean, never too crowded, great location, good hours, and inexpensive(especially for what you get) and a very friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend!!

personal trainer we didn’t hire was hella judgy. he came up 3 times critiquing me and asking if i “had never been to a gym” LOL never coming back bye

Thought they could help me achieve my goals since I've been in hibernation mode. But I guess I wasn't welcomed at this location. Regardless of anything I still worked out but why workout somewhere it's not comfortable? I wish things were different now I'm just trying to relocate my whole life maybe a different Retro would accept me 💯

Well run and managed. Great for newbies as well as seasoned lifters. Way better than a Planet Fitness if you take your lifting seriously and want balance for your body and to train legs properly. Owner and staff are great

I love this gym. I moved to the area three years ago at an all-time mental, physical, spiritual low, and decided to sign up for the gym to get back to myself a little bit. I had just had my third baby in under three years, so I was 5' 3" and 200 lbs. Through diet, exercise at Retro, my own plant based meal prep, and consistency, I've dropped 75 lbs. I'm currently working with a trainer, Syd, who practically put me in a stretcher (in the best sense possible) this week, and the training manager was willing to listen to my issues during COVID and develop a payment plan that worked for me. Retro has been my rock through so much difficulty in the past three years, and I wouldn't feel at home anywhere else. I have the highest level membership, which I HIGHLY recommend. It's about $30/month and includes tanning, bring-a-friend, and multiple kids in the child care area (which has ALSO always been great. I had one issue once where I felt a little eh and I talked with the manager on duty and it was resolved quickly and easily.), I just think it's so worth the upgrade. As a mom, it's hard to really invest in yourself, bit it's SO important that we do, and my membership at Retro plus the once a week personal trainer has been an investment that's given me so much more in return than I ever put into it.

I love the classes that they offer! I am so happy that they have child care so I have the opportunity to take the classes. Everyone that works there that I have encountered are very nice and super helpful with any questions.
