Mostly locals. Got their award winning burger it was good not great, a bit on the drier side. Next time I’d probably get it medium cooked. It is an old renovated building which is pretty cool. Definitely will go again and try something different. They serve beer and wine.

The fried green chilies for the appetizer were great. Delicious green chilies cheeseburger, burrito and tacos. Everyone happy with meals. Clean cafe and friendly waitress. Prices reasonable. Worth the trip to Capitan

The food was great and we really appreciated our waitress, Misty, also a 2nd grade teacher. They were short-handed (like every one) and Misty and the couple other waitresses there worked hard to wait on all the tables (and had to bus and clean them too.) She even stopped to listen to my five year old's story about Batman! Anyway, it's definitely worth a visit! Oh and portions were large and reasonably priced.

OMG... this is such a perfect find. The staff was incredibly friendly and the award winning green chili burger is absolutely amazing. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you so much for the service and the food. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional for a busy holiday weekend the team was all over it. Our food was delicious - I had the green chili burger hubby had chicken fried steak. The best was the homemade in the kitchen pie. Mine was buttermilk and hubby had pecan. It was so good. Can’t say enough about this special small town gem. We will be back - you need to go as well!

Excellent. Try the Oso Egg Roll and the fried chile pepper strips. The award winning green Chile cheese burger is excellent. The patty melt and tacos also are worth trying. Make sure and call to check the hours.

We made the short drive over from Ruidoso while on our week long vacation. We went early on Friday evening. Got right in with no wait. My wife had the green Chile chicken quesadillas and I ordered the State Fair winning green Chile cheeseburger. They were both very good and we had the queso which we also enjoyed immensely. The service was the best and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. After dinner we went next door to the gift shop and found a great smelling candle. Great food, great service and well worth the short drive. If you haven’t been, I recommend going soon.

Oso Grill was a recommendation from my dad who RVs in the mountains and he was not wrong. The place currently had a smaller houra open window due to less help (like everywhere these days) so there was a little bit of a line at the door. While we waited we took in the small room and the decorations were great, stylish and fun. (Pictures of the great women's room included) Tables aren't too close together which was a comfort in these covid times. So the food... Food was amazing! I got the famous burger that comes with the battered chili, son got a cheeseburger off the kid's menu and husband got a reuben with a side salad. Everything was great... I was worried that a reuben in NM might be suspect, but husband chowed down. I'm always cautious to not oversell a place for fear it gets overhyped... not worried here. Thanks Oso Grill for ending a great day trip to Capitan while on a stay in the mountains!
