Awesome! Worth the trip! Super nice owner with one of the biggest smiles and kindest vibes in NM. Great Native American jewelry, with reasonable prices and easy to work with. If you stop by and the sign says "open" yet the door is locked with a sign on the door that says "ring the door bell", just be sure to hold the button down for a while until you hear it sound.

I'm heading back here. It's a very special shop, run by a very special man, and if you get a chance, stop by. You can tell 'em "PapaJoe sent yah!" Ask for the story of that unique blue stone you'll find there. He'll also share the tale of Route 60. If there were 6 stars, I would have given them here.

Love this almost everything in the middle of nowhere stop. In way easr, stop at Eagle Guest Ranch in Datil. The aged beef is great. Have them cut your steaks to go after you have a great meal in the restaurant for a very reasonable price.

This guy was awesome! We showed up looking for info on what we could do in the area and he had suggestions, numbers, and real details about where we were going. And an interesting curio shop as well. Also, the whole family was impressed by his cat little-feather (her tail swooshes out like feathers). Super interesting and quirky.

I happened to pass thru Magdalena early April this year (2021) and decided to stop at this interesting little Trading Post that caught my eye. It wasn’t until I went inside, when I found out it was the Visitor Center too. They sell a variety of interesting things and some real nice jewelry. The gentleman inside was super nice and super interesting. We got to talking and I asked a lot of questions. He was a wealth of knowledge about Route 60 and the town. I could have stayed for hours, his cat was amusing too. He was very proud of the town and Route 60 history. I learned than Route 60 was established Long before Route 66. I also learned that in 1909 Joe Hilton, cousin to Conrad Hilton of Hilton Hotel fame built his first house right there in town. Definitely stop and talk with him and take in the Old West History Of The Town. I certainly will stop in again next time I’m out that way ! ! !
