I hadn't been there for awhile. I ordered the hibachi scallop and shrimp. I got 2 scallops, 6 shrimp. Little rice and few vegetables. Much smaller portions. No dipping sauces. I had to ask and received one not the usual 3 different ones. What I did have was good.

Have been here before and it was a lot better. Rice and veggies were bland, service was not good. Server was pleasant but it took almost an hour to get our food.

Sakura is our favorite restaurant! My husband goes bi-weekly on his day off. The quality food and service is exceptional. We highly recommend this dining experience!

I have been coming here for years. We usually got Hibachi because we love the menu and the show. The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful people. The food always tastes good and the quality is perfect. The alcohol that this place serves is a rice alcohol called sake. They also have child friendly drinks and food as well. I have taken several close family and friends to this restaurant and all of them love it here. My usual order is an ice water and Hibachi Chicken. I have tried other things on their menu but I always go back to my favorite. I have tried it with noodles and also with the fried rice. Both are good.

Delicious all around. No wait on a weekend night is unbelievable. Common appetizers (Gyoza, Miso soup, and Ginger salad) were all better than average. Sushi was phenomenal. Learn how to use chopsticks and order all of it. No liquor. 😭

The food is great, the service is excellent. I never get disappointed when I come here. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Canandaigua. You can come with your significant other, friends or family any occasion.

I honestly can not recommend this place at all. My husband and I made a reservation for 7pm. We arrived 5 minutes early and was seated with 2 other families. We had 1 minute to look at the menu and then was told to hurry up because the other families had been waiting a long time to eat. I didn't understand why they would sit us together being that our reservation was so late on comparison. The portion size was very small for the 100 dollars we spent. The couple on the other end was able to take home 2 containers of food while we had nearly nothing.

Ordered a steak teriyaki box, my son ordered sukiyaki steak and my other son ordered the pink panther roll. Our appetizer was yellow tail jalapeno. Food was delicious, fresh, and filling. We would have liked to experience the food being made Infront of us but I guess you need to call ahead? Regardless the sit down meal together was worth it as we had great conversation. We went on a Monday about 6pm and it was not busy. Would go again no doubt!

This restaurant is the definition of heavenly, n the decor is magnificent from the paper dragons to the Zen lanterns. The food is beyond the definition of exquisite cuisine, not only do they give free soup before your meal, but the delicious taste of the sushi is beyond words. Saukura Japanese Steak Hibachi is Heaven on Earth.

I drive almost an hour to eat here !!! They are by far the best sushi I have ever had ! There staff is awesome and you get in and get your food fast and it is amazing from the taste to the presentation it's all top notch !
