I’ve been coming here since the early 2000s. This is a casual, family-owned and operated vineyard with a glorious pond and beautiful surroundings. The wine is good, but the down-to-earth authenticity and unpretentiousness are unmatched. I come here to relax. There are more elegant and upscale vineyards on the trail, but Pugliese is my go-to spot.

If zero was an option, I would have selected that. I work for a senior living community with a specialized Alzheimer's community within. Our memory care residents just attempted to enjoy a boxed lunch at the vineyard where they were treated with absolutely no dignity. The employee (Donna) said it's ridiculous that we would bring a group of seniors to have a picnic (when it clearly states on the website that outside food is allowed), and that she expects everyone to spend $15 per person not just order a few bottles of wine. Donna also stated "and then you are going to want to use the bathrooms and dirty them and fill our garbages with your lunch". I am not sure where she got the idea that we would be leaving garbage behind anywhere, but that certainly would not be the case, and typically when you are a paying customer at a venue with a public restroom, it is available for ALL of the public and seniors are not discriminated against. The attached photos show a completely EMPTY venue, now I have a better understanding on why. If this is how they treat a group of seniors suffering from Alzheimer's, I can not even begin to imagine how they treat others. It is absolutely appalling and disheartening to come across businesses like this on Long Island.

Love their wines, especially their dessert wines. Visit every year and usual it's the same woman (brunette) working there. She is awesome and very knowledgeable. I'm really sorry I don't remember her name to give the props she deserves.

I absolutely love Pugliese! I visit annually with my family and we are on year 5! It’s always a must stop for us! The owner Pat is a gem. So kind, welcoming and receptive. The Blanc de Blanc Brut is incredible. We always grab a glass and celebrate. This past trip we celebrated with 4 generations of women in our family. Veronica Rose is another good one and happens to be the name of my grandma and baby! We had some of that to celebrate the new girl as well. The property is always to relaxing and peaceful. The lake is filled with fish and turtles! Pat the owner paints wine glasses. We bought some a few years ago and they are still perfect!

Had a groupon and what a bargain! I went with the sparkling 4 for my tour. Great choice! There are lots of great options and a great cheese plate. The vineyard has a pond and usually has live music. Its very crowded in the summer but there are plenty of glasses to go around.

Love this winery! They have a great selection, very reasonable pricing and a wonderful outdoor sitting area. There is a nice pond with turtles and fish and tons of tables. Friendly and helpful staff, very good. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
