This place is awesome! We get all of our party supplies and seasonal decor from here. We also get stickers, kitchen towels, foil and other kitchen accessories from here as well. There wasn’t a one time when I walked in and walked out empty handed. This place isn’t the most cleanest but it’s stocked well. I’ve found stuff here that wasn’t available in Middletown so I was happy. You can also find great puzzles here for $1! Those are much needed these days for quarantine life and some brain stimulation. I love getting cute stuff for the cats here whether it’s for a holiday, seasonal or birthday.

I called to check if my order I purchased online had arrived and the lady who answered tried to rush me off the phone and told me if my email didn't say delivered then it wasn't there. As she is telling me this, she's also speaking to someone else in the store and says "sorry I have like 20 people talking to me at once." I felt she could of handle the situation a little more professional, but because I know the store is located in Monticello, sadly, I am not surprised by the lack of professionalism.

I’m giving this location 0 stars. The dollar store in Liberty is top notched compared to the one in Monticello. The liberty dollar tree is clean and the associates really know what it means to be in the field of customer service. The Monticello dollar tree is cluttered the shelves are dirty and most of the associates have bad attitudes they are rude and when you ask them questions they act as if you shouldn’t be asking them questions.Yesterday on 3/25/2020 I went in for 3 products one antibacterial soap, one hand sanitizer, one antibacterial wipes I filled my bag with close to forty to fifty items I waited for two hours while dollar tree associates never put out any of the items I came in for. I approached the manager and informed her I was waiting for two hours for three things (I over heard her ask one of the associates how long I was waiting also I heard the associate tell the manager that they got disinfectant wipes) her response was we don’t want people waiting around for the products. I told her every time I come from work they are out of the products I need she walked away and had an attitude. The associates deliberately decided not to put the merchandise out. Then the associate at the register said with an attitude are you going to buy these items I said no I will never come back here again I left all the products on the counter and walked out. I would have spent almost 40 or 50 dollars yesterday but decided to leave. I contacted corporate but have heard nothing back. I’ve been a customer for almost 10 years and I don’t just spend a dollar when I go I spend a lot of money and give them my business. I’m disgusted with the way I was treated I’m disgusted how humans can treat other humans this way and abuse their power during this difficult time. I thought about going to the one in liberty because I love that store but if corporate doesn’t get back to me I will not go to another dollar tree again and will continue to tell friends coworkers and everyone my experience. This happened in the morning on 3/25/2020. Google would not let me rate this store 0 stars but my rating is 0 stars.
