Favorite gym in the area and such a welcoming environment. The people that work there and that are lifting are friendly, helpful and actually put their weights back and keep it organized. I've been going for 4 or 5 years and the new owner improved the quality so much by replacing worn out machines and extending Sunday hours 10/10

I'm really glad this place was purchased the new owner. The equipment here has been upgraded and is impeccably maintained, also the locker room is much cleaner than any other gym. What really makes this place special, is the people who come here. Majority of members are polite and abide by gym code. They put their weights back in the proper place, they offer to 'work in' , and they don't look at their phones while taking up valuable machinery. If you're thinking of coming here, and you don't understand or care about basic gym edicate, then please go elsewhere. If you just want a place to hang out with your friends, then I would suggest LA or Planet Fitness.

I have been going here since they opened over 20 years ago. This has always been a great gym with an amazing vibe. That said, the old owners clearly struggled to keep it up due to Covid. One of the members bought it because he wanted to keep our gym family intact. Mike has done an outstanding job keeping the gym clean, added a lot of new state of the art equipment and brought back the best staff and trainers in the industry. Everyone here is friendly, both new members and old members get along well. I’ve been to other local gyms and none of them makes you feel as welcome as Golds.

New equipment staff is super friendly very comfortable atmosphere. Never joined a gym before always had a stereo typed idea of the people that went there, wrong idea. Golds attracts a great clientele only sorry I didn't join sooner.

Been going to Gold’s Smithtown for over 10 years, never had issue. The gym offers lots of space and just the right mix of basic and advanced equipment. The new owners and staff also seem very personable and engaged in ensuring a quality experience here.

By far the best customer service I love this place! My family and I stopped by to check out the gym and everything was amazing. Mike and the staff were so kind and the child care is great. Equipment is nice, gym is clean and the vibes are nice Definitely signing up

I had a gym membership for my teenage son there for years. The gym repeatedly allowed unauthorized charges to my credit card that was on file for the monthly membership billing only. The charges would stop for a while, then again. Any inquiries about the charges were dismissed in a very rude and unprofessional manner. The customer service is terrible. They decided to ‘kick out’ my son from the gym only to continue to charge my credit card for double the original membership cost. They refused to refund anything. I will be reporting them. Don’t give them your business.

Came to Gold's Gym over 6 months ago after cancelling my membership at another gym. My experience with Gold's has been great. Trainers are second to none. They are knowledgeable, motivating and push you to achieve your goals. Team training and small group sessions with Jessica are the best workouts I've ever had!
