I walked up to the doors at 9:40pm and doors were locked, 20 minutes early. As I was about to walk back to my car I saw they unlocked the doors to let someone out but no one was let in. No signs or anything stating for an early closure.

I almost killed my suspension.. huge potholes everywhere time for a pave. Staff is friendly and professional. The place needs a facelift. Looks rundown. Please give this place a much needed face lift, the most RUNDOWN family dollar in all of central New York not just Syracuse. Just because it’s in a less affluent area does not give the owners the right to cut corners. Customers should have a top notch experience in all family dollars.

Very unprofessional... the male staff member need to be fired asap they are always sagging there pants. Have some respect for yourself. the female manger needs to be fired aswell shes always sitting down not doing any work while theres a full line of customer. she sits back and watch while the the young men openly argues in front of customers. Very disappointed this is the worst family dollar in syracuse ny.

UPDATED DEC. 1- Just Drove Past the store and the whole lot was bright and lit up! Great Job! Now I would feel comfortable coming to the store after dark! Thank you,😊 The store itself is fine. The people that work here are great. Friendly and helpful. The problem is the lights in the parking lot. There are NO LIGHTS IN THE LOT! When it gets dark outside the lot is scary and that's not fair for the shoppers or the workers to deal with that. FIX IT ASAP! Please 😊 UPDATE****** effort has been made by the store. No lights in the lot just yet BUT they did pull down all the posters on the windows and are using the bright lights from inside the store which makes a huge difference already. I appreciate it and I'm sure the neighbors in the area do too.

Staff is very nice Everytime I come in (and I do often) helpful if needed and they go the xtra mile to make comments about my day, appearance or even grandkids, you never know when you might make someone's day .😋 I pray family dollar is around forever.
