We saw Tom's pottery in one of the galleries and decided to visit his studio to see of he had any other pieces (we were looking for some serveware). Tom was friendly and welcoming. He talked us through the history of Seagrove as well as the explained the styles that he creates. We really enjoyed talking with him and ultimately left with some beautiful pieces that were exactly what we were looking for.

One of the best potters! Pots are very balanced and not thick and heavy. Glazes are richer and gorgeous.

I really liked this place, and loved Speckles the dog. I bought a cup and a mug here (my budget is limited). Tom is really friendly and Speckles will be your best friend as soon as you drive up. I really like the clean designs on the functional pieces. Everything is priced very reasonably. I really wish I had more room in my kitchen, because some of the serving/bread plates are gorgeous.
