Took a package of mine back to the post office saying I refused delivery and asked to pick it up. I did no such thing and in fact couldn’t have seeing as I wasn’t even home. It seems they were sick of making deliveries for the day and just took it back. I never asked for this in my delivery instructions and the postage did not call for it. Absolutely unacceptable.

Very very corrupted post office . Bad habit of taking your package as their own and saying they never received it in from transit. When you open a case to locate they automatically close it .[UP DATE]—————-/Nov 17 The box arrived today that’s right the box , an empty box that had been tore to shreds showed up on our porch with out a thing in it ... And just have to ask WHY ..... These people really need to be investigated cause they are racking up

Took 18 packages to the Summerfield location on Monday and the lady said she would scan them later. It's Thursday and they still have no scan. I went to the office to ask about them and she said they would show up sometime. All she had to do was take 5 minutes to scan the labels. Now my business is impacted and I don't know if they will eventually get there or they've been stolen by the staff. Will never use this office again.

The substitute postal carrier didn’t deliver my packages and posted that I refused delivery and asked to pick up my packages at the Post Office! He never attempted delivery. I was home and saw him deliver letters but he didn’t come to the house or talk to me. Basically he lied. We have been in this house over two years and this is the 3rd time he said I wanted to pick packages up. The post office is 16 miles from my house and I am a disabled veteran who can’t drive and the packages contain life saving medications.

Continuing saga... I have to go out and look for our package again, tracking said it's been delivered to our porch, nothing here. Sometimes it's in the neighborhhod, sometimes it's not. Again, a box crammed and damaged in our mailbox and 2/3 of it hanging out so the box won't close, and still driving in our yard. We put a cinder block in the grass in front of our box to prevent more damage, and it was crushed after three days. For 20 years the service from our carrier was spectacular. These past six months or so are very aggravating.

The people that work here are pretty friendly and have always helped me when I come in! However , our delivery person is awful! They have skipped our mail box several times when we had outgoing mail but no incoming for them to stop and deliver. This is verified from my neighbor across the street who got mail the same day when my outgoing mail wasn’t taken. I have had packages left on our walkway in the rain vs the mail box or porch.

this has got to be the SORRIEST post office on earth. ups will show my packages at this crappy post office and even show out for delivery, and it will be 4 or 5 more days before i get my packages. how is a package out for delivery for 5 days? then when i call, they SWEAR the package is not there. this happens every time. they are beyond sorry and lazy.

I live in Rockingham County part of Summerfield and I have never in my life had so much trouble receiving packages. Almost every package that is supposed to be delivered to my address gets misplaced or delivered to someone else. Right now I'm dealing with a case because they lost a package of books for my daughter. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES TO MY ADDRESS!?! I am beyond frustrated.

Incredibly rude woman working there today. I walked out and took my packages to UPS instead. The woman at the Summerfield post office made it very clear to me today that she was is no way interested in helping me, nor did she want my business.

I have never had such a problem sending mail in my entire life. the Summerfield post office manages to shred, lose, a piece of mail absolutely once a month and I have to cancel checks and resend bills that are now late because of their carelessness. The delivery people are friendly and I certainly don't know what the problem is but I have found loose outgoing mail floating in puddles in my neighborhood on more than one occasion. I can no longer use my mailbox for outgoing mail I physically have to send my mail with my wife to Virginia so that they can send it because if it anyway goes through Summerfield something is going to be lost. The latest piece of shredded mail with the a missing check they gave back to me with an apology sort of note, was dropped off in the mailbox at the Summerfield post office
