This is my go to place. Love the people there. I’ve found many good deals. People often complain about slow service. Many of the employees are disabled and still show up and work their tail ends off. Much respect for this crew. If it takes me 5 min longer to check out. So be it.

We came and found and purchased a 40" TV and a dining room table Jason and another gentleman took the time to take one side of the table apart to load it into our vehicle. They both was very nice and very very patient with taking it apart and loading it up in the vehicle. Those two was amazing people humming and whistling while they did it. Thank you for being amazing workers!!

You can usually find good clothes. They sort their clothes very well. So I like going here knowing I'll find nice clothes. I avoid this goodwill though as the cashiers can be very rude (1-2 in particular). For example, when I approached the cashier, a short lady with large glasses and shoulder length hair who has worked there quite a while, I told her I had some items I didn't need. (I thought instead of sitting them on some shelf, it would be better to give them to the cashier, bad idea turns out) she didn't acknowledge I was even there. I wasn't sure she even heard me, so I said again, "all this is stuff I didn't want" she sticks her hand in my face and tells me, "WAIT! I'm talking to her! I heard you, you don't want any of this!" She was referring to the other cashier. Is it too much to ask that I not be ignored, or if you have to talk to the other cashier, tell me you need a minute? Instead, I get completely ignored and then berated for trying to talk to the cashier checking out my items! Huh? I'm try to be as nice as possible to these cashier's because I know it's no treat being a cashier (believe me I get it) but being very rude to a customer over the tiniest little things. I got berated by another cashier when I put my card in the card scanner thing too early. My usual response is to de-escalate and keep a friendly conversation going because I genuinely don't know if some of them are dealing with their own struggles and don't know any better. Regardless, I'd love to visit this Goodwill and not be worried I'm about to be berated by the cashier for any little mistake... I'm so sick of the rudeness especially when it's completely unwarranted and I'm going above to be courteous.... I'm sure lots of customers have had the same experience with these cashier's.... I guess I should have stood up for myself, but it was embarrassing to be berated by the cashier and I was trying not to cry after being yelled at like that.

Store has continually declined since a change in corporate management that happened over four years ago. The Delaware location in particular was singled out. All of the employees and management team felt and still feel in fear of being fired every day over favoritism and politics. Or for disobeying their corporate manager's wishes, even though it's impossible to meet the arbitrary goals that are set for both employees and store management. I have told many people at my new job that I felt like I just got out of a very abusive work relationship. I do not go in there at all anymore.

Filthiest store I've I've been in my life construction equipment lying around everywhere drywall dust everywhere all over the place in changing room started work while I was in with my 1 year year old crazy loud drove my kids crazy then they're rude over it never going back never getting a dime people go in after hours to do those things for reason drywall dust is dangerous without proper mask on and your not handing them away to customers lawsuit in the making right there I exited better from such a large chain instead of Noone caring anymore completely sad and pathetic o need to go home to shower now

I frequently shop here, and over the years my experience has gotten worse. Through Covid, they fired all of their loyal employees and now are suffering from understaffing. Because of this, lines are always extremely long. Many clothes have stains and holes, I wish this would be checked for beforehand to make the experience smoother. Everything has also went up in price, which is ridiculous when they’re receiving all their products for free.

The items in the store are over priced. You could go to many other places in Delaware and get NEW for their pricing. The customer service is terrible. They also like to try to charge you a formal dress price for a dress that was in with the dresses not the formals. They tried this on 2 dresses with me.

You will find little of value here ...anything of real value is put up online and auctioned to the highest bidder. I'm revising my review because of the stand up response, but I stand behind my statement that the store experience is truly lacking because most things of value are omitted, you really should consider putting everything back in the store so that the community can shop there without Ebay style bidding

The customer service is totally awful. I made a furniture purchase and went around back to pick up. The man who came out to “greet” me (He literally said nothing), helped me load it and when he saw the legs were sticking out and it didn’t quite fit, turned around, said NOTHING to me and went back inside! I had to go back in and ask him for some twine to tie down my hatch, he rolled his eyes and nastily told me I was in the way of people trying to drop off. Just complete disrespect, I regret spending any money here.
