I love going to our local hardware store. There is an older grey haired gentlemen(once I get his name this will be updated) that knows EXACTLY where EVERYTHING in the store is. You can explain what you're trying to fix, accomplish or do and he will direct you to the best possible choices the store offers. He will also explain the process that he believes will suit you best. All of the workers are very helpful and friendly! This store offers a crafting section where you can buy yarn, needles for sewing and sewing machines, thread, buttons, embroidery yarn and supplies, knitting supplies and how-to books for almost any beginner crafter. Some days you can go to the hardware store and they offer you FREE POPCORN and it's made the old fashioned way!!! I go here for all my hardware, household, and sewing needs!

I enjoy shopping here. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. If I can't find what I'm looking for or more likely don't know what I need to accomplish my project - I just ask. They have it all from great paint to beautiful candles and everything in between. Stop by, you'll be glad you did. And I love not having to run to Mansfield!!

This place is the best! They have what I need (no matter how obscure) every time I go there plus something I never knew I needed in the first place until I saw it! Excellent prices, too. I check them first when I need something.

They are the worst with custom service they have no return policy post in store. So when you buy something beware don't open it they won't take it back for the right one. Hey Home Depot and Lowes both return things that have been opened and not used. Don't shop at this store. I would have gave it a minus 5 star if I could.

A great 3 Generation family ran business with excellent customer service. Most of their prices are better than Lowe's, Home Depot, or Menard's. If you live close to Galion it's better than running to Marion or Mansfield and if you price check you'll see the difference for yourself.

Friendly staff, surprisingly large selection of items. Ran out of Chalked paint purchased elsewhere and the staff was enthusiastic to gain product knowledge, even consulting with their sales rep to assist us since they hadn't yet sold any in the new line they now carry. Don't overlook them and presume you'll have to go to a big box store- they might just have what you need!

I love it here a lot.even though it's the only hardware store we have in galion,I'm grateful we have one. I strongly recommend to everyone that if they need anything heavy duty to go stop by true value first.the staff have been so goid to me over the years with my needs that I'm grateful for both the store and staff. I love picking the staff's brains about things because I always learn something new.I can tell the staff are like family because of their personalities. Over the years of shopping their store I've made good friends with the staff. They take good care of me when I shop there. And I love doing business with them too. And I can tell they enjoy going above and beyond helping their customers with their needs by their personalities and knowledge of what the customers need.
