I will never be shopping here again even if I am so desperate for a lab manual and assignments are being due and this store is the only place that sells them. I will never shop here at this place again. I recently purchased a lab Manuel here for $130. Yes that price. It was pretty high but I thought this was the only place that sold these Manuels. I then was Informed that the UT bookstore/merch store on campus road sold the same exact one for only $50. I then went back to Barnes and noble and kindly asked for a price match before driving all the way out there I called management and was indeed informed they would be able to price match it. I then go upstairs and some guy behind the desk said he can’t return it because “they have different ISBNs, so they aren’t the same book.” Like what the heck they are exactly the same CHEM 1290 plastered on both what more do you want!! I then continued to ask him the relevance of the isbn and he was at lost for words exactly proving my point this place is a scam don’t shop here.

Nice store, well organized, but highly expensive!!! I only bought 2 books and ended up paying almost 500 dollars and one of the books was just to rent!!... I couldn't imagine if I was going to school full time and had to purchase books from here, luckily I only have 3 classes. I see why ppl say get your materials online!!!💯

My experience here was so HORRIBLE I refuse to buy textbooks here ever again. I bought a book online for an engineering class I was taking. I couldn't open it on my laptop so I went and wasted an hour at the store for them to only give me the wrong book. I went back a week later when I realized their mistake. I spent nearly three hours with them messing with my account, redoing the purchases again and again only to tell me the textbook was no longer in publication. I understand that this wasn't the store's fault and don't blame them for that. My customer service was AWFUL though!!! The kids working there were more concerned about talking about their weekend plans and gossiping than being professional and taking my concerns seriously. They did more standing around than trying to help me. When I asked for a manager and complained about my experience was the only time that any work got done. Plus, I had to go back to the store another time to actually get my money back since they did so many transactions with the wrong book and had to call me to tell me they screwed up. I only shop at Rockets Bookstore now since they are much friendly and the prices are much better.

Pretty pricey to say the least. This store has a great number of books though and a very chill atmosphere. UPCOMING STUDENTS just buy your college textbooks through Amazon and save yourself a couple hundred bucks. My bill exceeded $600 for the first semester.
