Stay away. Used Dom & Checkered on small jobs before, was originally happy, then he charged my son for a new transmission and never did anything and said he did the work.

Everything was great from the start. I was referred to Dom at Checkered Flag by my employer and have been very happy with the service, prices, and overall care of my car. I had my brakes replaced first and then went back a few months later for an oil change. My car was due for a new battery so Dom recommended a few and made sure it was done on time so I could pick it up right after work. Very knowledgeable and fair prices. I drove into Dom’s shop unannounced the day after Hurricane Ida. While attempting to go to work I heard something start dragging under my car and saw a large piece of metal hanging from under the engine. This was the closest garage to where I was and no where near home. Not only did he realize that I must have driven through high waters and ripped something loose, but he stopped what we was doing, crawled my car to finish unscrewing the shield! He wasn’t even going to charge me! He told me I was safe to drive but when I could - I should replace it! I’m a nurse and needed to get to work so I was just so relieved and thankful! I had him order the part and made the trip back to him for the repair! He was so kind, professional and timely in his service! Perfect combination of great business man and wonderful human being!
