One of my favorite shops in Pittsburgh. Jeff is personable, friendly, and welcoming. Happily set up my pull list here even though it's not the closest shop to my house. Worth the trip every time.

I first stopped in at Arkham Gift Shoppe years and years ago because the owner, Jeff, was a friend of a friend and I wanted to check out his shop. Despite liking superheroes and other genre stuff my whole life, it had been years since I regularly read comics. Several long, fun conversations with Jeff occurred over the years and I now consider him a great friend and my love of the medium of comics fully rekindled. I stop in regularly to pick up regular titles and check out the often-changing stock of collectables and collected comic volumes. I live across town from Arkham, but the trip is totally worth it. The newer location is roomy and bright and comfortable, and Jeff is knowledgable and friendly and always super helpful. He is great at recommending things for kids and older readers alike, and obviously loves meeting new customers as well as greeting regulars. Comic shops have a bad but often-earned reputation of being cluttered, musty spaces with grumpy, condescending proprieters and annoying patrons trying to "outgeek" each other. Arkham is the total opposite, and I always have a great time. Sometimes I intend to pop in for a few minutes only to realize an hour and a half has passed! I can't tell you how many inferior area comic shops I've stopped in only to say "I should have just gone to Arkham."

Great little comic shop, drive by several times, but finally stopped in. It was a very pleasant visit and the owner was kind and helpful. The prices were fair and there was a good variety of comics and more stuff than you'd expect at a comic store. I'll be back again soon to see what's new. If you, like me, haven't stopped in yet, make sure to stop in and check out this gem of a shop!

Very good comic and Funko Pop shoppe. Great selection of new comics and has been increasing the selection of back issues. The store has packaged "runs" of a comic to help you build your collection and get the whole story line. Has a very large selection of trade paperback (TPB) books as well. The owner is very good with pull lists (if you have comics you want to make sure you get). Jeff is an owner that has genuine interest in helping you, so if you have a question or are looking for something, be sure to ask. If you like comics or popular culture Funko Pops, this is the place to go!

The owner is not only friendly and knowledgeable, but actually has a passion for what he is doing and his customers. The products are always top quality. There is no better place to go if you need to get some fantastic service while enjoying your favorite comics.

Huge comic store with a great collection of new and old issues. Their pre-packaged sets are an amazing price too! Great service and extremely convenient. If you like comics of any style definitely stop in!

This gem is hiding in plain sight right by the BP on Rt 8. Guys there were super helpful and they have some really neat items! We will definitely be back.
