You walk in and it's all new product and stuff. But they treat you like it's 1960. Everyone says hello. People offer to help. Not like when I go to Lowes and the employees run away from you if you look like you have a question.

Great people work here! Would much rather shop local than the big shops and Ambridge Do It Best does not disappoint. Prices are slightly more than HD or Lowes but it's close and they have sales. Love it!

They have a great special collection of different unique home goods and you can take a photograph of mulch, soil or rock or whatever and take it in and they will ring it up and usually there are two nice young man to load it into your vehicle for you! They also have a nice selection of outdoor water fountains!

Tons of stuff in stock, always have a little bit of everything you need and a lot of inspiring new projects, folks who are always willing to help me to buy or how to solve a problem. I don't think an hour is enough to thoroughly see everything this place carries. Remember the old hardware stores that carried everything you could possibly need? This is the place! They have everything you need and even everything you didn't know you needed! They even had a heating pad for my messed up back. Be sure to ask where something is if you're in a hurry. Otherwise enjoy the friendly atmosphere you won't find at a big box store. Their gardening section is unbelievable!

Great place and some pretty wonderful people work there. Two years in a row, we have been able to count on Ambridge Do it Best to donate paint and supplies for our local YMCA Summer Camp project. The manager and his staff are always so helpful, polite and generous. Thank you Ambridge Do it Best!
