A horrible experience, and I have only myself to blame, as I had read ALL of the negative complaints before I ordered one 6 months ago but no other company made the hardtop I needed, so I caved. They took my money, and stopped returning calls or emails. Hopefully my credit card gives me the money back, as I have a dispute with them about it currently. At least their website FINALLY has a posting saying they're not taking new orders at this time, so...I don't think they're purposely trying to screw anyone over. Yet that only makes me slightly less mad. When you pay $1,500 (I got $500 off for a "summer special"), it's still uspetting.

Ordered and paid for a top over 10 months ago. Paid upfront for expedited manufacturing and shipping. They had no trouble taking my money but now they won’t return any phone calls or emails. I don’t recommend this business to anyone.

Like others, my only objective was to receive the product I paid for. I placed an order in May 2021, paid in full. Since then, smoothline communication has been anything but smooth or responsive. When I finally provoke a response, I received excuse after excuse. To date, the product was not recieved. Smoothline is non responsive since my last attempts to reach them. Preparing a criminal complaint and to file suit. If you've had a similar experience, and would like to join for a class action, or would like to be included as an injured party complaintant, let me know.

AVOID !!!!! Terrible product and even worse service. The glass on my 1986 corvette top broke and I've been trying to get a replacement for over a year now. I keep getting the run around by being told to email instead of call. They never answer the phone and today their voice mailbox is full. Complete trash as a product that doesn't last at all. Send a cashiers check in January of 2020 and was told 12 -14 weeks. I bought the LeMans top with every extra that was available. Then along comes the virus and of course they were closed, at least they said they were. Then in August I was told the top was in Upholstery and would be shipping in three weeks. Four or five weeks later it was being shipped in another week. The top showed up on October 4th. and was in perfect condition and really impressed every one who saw it. Still having some issues with getting to fit like it should, but that's me installing it. It took a while and at times I thought I was out the money I paid them, but all my frustrations went away when I saw the top.

Ordered a Lemans top for my Sky last year and yes it took a long time but I knew that it would take a long time so I wasn't as bothered as some other reviewers. This is a Quality top! I would highly recommend Jack many Thanks

Put a deposit on back in April 2019. Was told the top was ready July 2020 after calling them for over a year.... but could only certified mail a check to them for the rest of payment. I argued that he should take a card, and that's shady. In the end I gave in ,and I see why now he wanted a check because the bank can't reverse a check. Hardtop was not a "sure fit design" I have it up for sale now to try and get some of my money back...

Ordered 5 months ago and have left 7-9 messages without a return call or an invoice. Will have to go through my bank and lawyers prob wont get the 3500 back ridiculous this day and age. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY as cool as their product is.

I cant speak for others......but it's extremely hard to believe anyone got "ripped off" by Smoothline. During the time these reviews were made, Smoothline exploded with business. Obviously a good thing, but they got overwhelmed. Everyone got their top or reimbursed / refunded or this licensed business would not still be licensed. And for the guy showing the back glass separating, it comes separately and you install yourself, so that's on him! With that said...... STELLAR WORK SMOOTHLINE!!! I picked up my completed top exactly 12 weeks after ordering. It was exactly as described and exceeded my expectations. Jack was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Smoothline. Keep in mind they were shut down through the peak of the pandemic and still delivered on time a top quality product!!!! Thanks a million Jack!!

Buyer beware: don't buy if you're expecting to receive a product within 6-7 months from $1,800+ payment paid in-full. No active updates on production every time it was "delayed." Never received a product, nor updates (either via e-mail or phone call) from the manufacturer on delays. No attempt was made from the customer service department, I had to contact myself every time the date of delivery passed and there was no shipping receipt or product. Thank God my bank protected my purchase and helped get my money back from something that I'm still not sure was ever going to be produced.
