My wife and I discovered Wakefield Animal Hospital 21 years ago when we moved to Lancaster. Through numerous dogs and numerous problems we have never been anything else than happy. We’ve found Dr. Kirk to be competent, honest, and forthcoming in her opinions. Overall it is a great veterinarian hospital.

The vet is amazing! She is very experienced, professional and takes her time with each visit. The cost is really low. I travel an hour just to take my furbabies there. Well worth the trip.

My dog was misdiagnosed, Mary Kirk didn't want to bend down to treat my dog, when she was struggling to be lifted and is to old to jump on her own anymore. My dog had cancer after being told she didn't. The staff lacks compassion. The front desk girls aren't helpful when you call to ask questions beyond scheduling. Not to mention I had an appointment at 4 didn't get sent to a private room until 5 where I sat for several more minutes. Just to be serviced for 10 minutes of false information that I paid over $200 for.

I'm so happy that I found a local vet that I like. Got in as a new client very quickly and I like Dr. Kirk very much. She worked with my two cats, very professionally, and I like how she handled our situation. I even took her a new client two days later. Thank you, Dr. Kirk! CS and kitties....

They were so short staffed and I am sure tired. They were busy but still did everything they could to save and take care of my fur baby. They did a great job and thanks to them she is well. They reacted very quick and were so kind. They accepted my calls and questions. They loved my baby like she was theirs. I am forever thankful. Hang in there crew. I know its hard with covid.

Doctor Mary is so caring. She is so focused on what is best for your pet. The new office is so spacious and easy to get into. The perfect place to take your small pet.

Dr.kirk is the best vet around, iv been coming to Wakefield Animal Hospital for over 20 years. Dr.Kirk has always done her best to help of all my furr babies, though good and also unfortunate situations!!!!
