As you gear (or anything) buyers are aware, shortages largely due to COVID has caused delays and sometimes non-availability for ordered items because of material shortages and lack of personnel to even produce what you may have ordered. I had, several months ago, placed an order for an electric guitar I had lusted over for a very long time that was recently being sold by a very reputable maker carried by George's, because that instrument was reissued in a price range that fit my pocketbook much better than the original pricing. Following the long, yet currently standard wait, the guitar arrived and I excitedly opened the box at the Spring City George's store only to have my dreams dashed when I saw that the wood in guitar's back side was badly marred and discolored right up the middle and clearly visible through the instrument's transparent sunburst finish. We were all shocked. How did this mess get through the factories touted QC process? Sadly, I rejected this long awaited dream and asked that another be ordered to replace it. (Just so you understand, I have been told by acquaintances who repair guitars that having a guitar replaced is NOT a common practice for the manufacturer of this instrument) Well, long story shortened a bit, I now have a BEAUTIFUL guitar of my dreams that George's arranged for me to get by jumping through many hoops that was delivered in record time. Now, THAT is what you can only be called caring customer service! Thank you, Tom and whoever else made this happen. You have proved that, at least at George's, buyers concerns matter. You handled this real issue in a prompt and professional way. I am very grateful.

This is a fantastic company to work with! Every step of the way,Tim who is a sales specialist, kept in contact regarding questions I had and my purchase. He was the online specialist based in Florida. I ordered a guitar online and picked it up in person. Although it was a 2-hour drive(roundtrip) definitely worth the trip for me. Much better customer service than the bigger music store.Also I’m left-handed and they had the guitar I’ve been looking for in stock! It’s hard to find a local store to have exactly what you’re looking for. Spring City is a really nice area. Will definitely purchase all my music equipment from them.

I live in SC but have a sister who lives in the area. I walked into the store after having been curious for awhile and received the attention I needed to help me find a left-handed guitar. The gentlemen in the store, including Anthony, were absolutely awesome. Helpful, knowleable, and charismatic. They even checked up with me to see how I was doing with my guitar a few months later. I'm definitely going back when I visit again for the supplies I need!

I am 21 years old and I have been coming to George’s since I was about 7. Every time I came in to buy something or take a look around they have always took great care of me and made me feel welcomed. I can safely say they apply that to everyone as I have seen how helpful and friendly they are with other customers. Besides customer service, this store has a great selection and variety of equipment/instruments to choose from. 10/10 would recommend. It will always be my favorite store!

Absolutely fantastic place to get all your guitar needs. Tom and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. From pedals, amp, strings, power supplies to a wide arrangement of guitars and basses, they'll be there to help. Great products and even better service. Cannot recommend enough.

Bought my first fender stratocaster the other day. I love the Berwyn location and I'm closer to spring City so went there. Met Phil who was absolutely great, attentive to everything, very helpful.
