Always always cluttered aisles. Short staffed. Poor presentation when first entering store. Staff dismissive, uninterested in making easy improvements to benefit store, themselves and customers

This place has failed it's inspections constantly... the inspectors found mouse droppings, dead mice and they've even said quote: "Per interview of various staff, approximately 50 mice discovered/caught during beginning cleanup process" imagine having 50 mice during A CLEAN UP PROCESS... and that's at the BEGINNING of the CLEAN UP... the aisles are always cramped and there's a smell of something when you enter it... the ceilings essentially are falling apart (not a joke, there's tiles missing) severe water damage and this has been going on for years... close this place down for the love of god... (they have literally failed inspections for years, mice isn't a new issue and the fact they haven't listened to it and are still open is baffling)

The lack of fresh fruits and vegetables is disgusting. I despise how in a modern society companies make money by selling poor quality food to people.

One Big Mess. Inventory in boxes on a carts in most aisles making them extremely narrow and tight Sadly this is the norm people are in aisles like sardines. Why hasn't upper management addressed this chaos.?

If I could give 0 stars I would place is always a mess the manger is always doing nothing this employee blonde hair can never answer my question on anything she’s always on her phone she really needs to be fired and they always close the store at 9:30 even know they are supposed to close at 10 they really need a new manger and employees that wanna work and stop being on the phone

I live in the neighborhood so it's convenient for me to patronize this location regularly. This has to be by far one of the dirtiest, unkept Family Dollars in the state of Rhode Island. As soon as you walk in the store you are hit with the funkiest smell. It smells like dirty laundry every time I walk in this store. Occassionally they try to spray air freshener to mask the offensive smell but flowers mixed with smelly socks and wet dog doesn't compliment together. The workers lack professionalism and change up very often. The clothing aisle is the worst! They never clean this aisle. I can only imagine how much good product sits in the stock room or even in boxes throughout the store because of the lack of accountability and poor management. Corporate needs to step in and do a real makeover of this location. They may have done a little rearranging of the layout of the store in 2018 but that was not enough! I hope something is done about this. This store doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Shoddy goods that break after a week such as headphones and umbrellas. You really get what you pay for here and unfortunately they are ultra strict on their return policy regardless of the circumstances which can be a little unreasonable when their good explodes in your hands. I really like the employees that work their though and they're always polite and nice for the most part.

It all depends on who you are dealing with in this store. Most of the workers and managers are nice and helpful, but there is one that isn't helpful at all. I got a gift card for a birthday present and didn't receive my digital code, so when I went back to see if I could obtain it the manager said she couldn't help me and I was out the $25.00 I paid for it. I'm on a fixed income and can not afford to lose money like that. I do not think it would be that hard to just look up the receipt number on a computer and give me the code I need. They are losing a lot of business because of the rudeness of the store manager. Gary is fantastic he will try to help you if your stuck like I was. Nice birthday my son had, he didn't get his gift card and I'm.out the money and can't replace it with another one.

It's really unfortunate the way this store is kept. This location is very convenient otherwise I would never shop here. First of all, parking is a major issue, it's almost unsafe the way it's set up- there are only about 4 official spots. There are always several cars in the front spots and no people on the store therefore the staff is taking up the parking spots. Shouldn't they have to park across the lot!? Secondly, the staff is always smoking in the door way! This is so disgusting and illegal. If I see a staff member smoking out there when I pull in, I drive away and give my buissiness elsewhere.

The biggest problem is the employees (specially the store manager), they park where the customers should be allowed to park. Any idiot knows to let your customers have the best parking spots. But you lead bye example, if the boss does it it must be OK... Then there's a guy that works there. There's never a question if it's his shift because you can here him accross the whole store running his mouth talking inappropriately. It's really just a bunch of people who hate there jobs/lives.
