Building department is atrocious!!!! I've never seen anything like this. They don't answer, responds once a month (not helpful). This department needs a transformation FAST! I'd fire everyone since no-one seems to work there!!!!

City won't hire people with 25 year old non violent felony. Tell you that's a problem, then hang up...lol...it's Johnston

Mayor Polisena doesn't care about people. Don't call him with a town problem because all you will get is an excuse but no solutions. He suggested I don't vote for him next time and I suggested you don't vote for him either.

2020 in person voting was very easy and quick, the Mayor and his staff was very helpful, courteous and COVID19 compliant.. I was even able to pay my taxes with ease 🤗

Horrible Roads. Killingly Street is still horrendous. Pot holes everywhere! George Waterman..horrible. Atwood Ave way up near Plainfield Str, same thing, just real bad! I try to avoid the town because of the road conditions but I had to go through today.

They never answer the phone or respond to emails. Very hard to obtain tax information, have to call an outrageous number of times to get a hold of someone

Went to get immigration related documents. First lady said she doesn’t feel comfortable notarizing it so we have to wait for Mr Vince. Then another lady comes and tries to help us but then Mr Vince shows up. He looks at the documents and says he not familiar with these documents so asks us to go to some other federal office. The whole purpose of notarization is to say that the signatures were done in front of them. I never had any problems before with notary as other town halls including east providence. But these guys are incompetent at best.

Parking be tough but aside from that it's a great location. Stoic brick building with nostalgic charm and landscaoe kept pristine. Most of the employees I've encountered are pleasantly helpful. The sign out front let's locals know town news.
