I had my wedding at MWM a little over a month ago and I cannot overstate how wonderful it was. Catherine was amazing to work with, the space is BEAUTIFUL and very adaptable, the bar tenders were so nice, and the beer, wine, and cocktail lists were INCREDIBLE. The fact that multiple spaces were available made a separation between the dance floor and folks wanting to have a quieter time possible. The outdoor space is adorable and magical. Honestly, this place is an absolute gem and I can't recommend it highly enough!

It was set up very nice. Two huge rooms with a bar. A nice back with lights if u needed air. I went to a baby shower everything was set up excellent.

A flexible venue with a great vibe! My wife and I highly recommend Machines with Magnets. We planned a small Spring wedding (45 people) on a budget this past March. We planned the wedding ourselves on a very tight timeline (about three months of lead time!) while also getting ready for a new baby, so you can believe we were stressed and anxious. We looked at a few venues, but once we walked into MWM, we called off the search. The look of the space, the cost, and the flexibility and adaptability of management were all perfect for us. This isn't a traditional wedding venue -- it's an art gallery and recording studio with a built-in bar. It has several rooms, including a lovely outdoor patio, and easily fit our small wedding. The lovely wood floors, and earthy, tasteful design aesthetic brings a cozy and modern vibe. Catherine, the manager, worked with us directly throughout the process, addressed our concerns, and adapted to meet our needs. Unlike lots of traditional wedding venues, MWM gives an eight-hour slot as part of their basic price (making eight hours at MWM cheaper than three hours at most venues). You may not have heard of MWM, but chances are your other vendors have -- Catherine has worked with a lot of the caterers and rental places in the area, so they know the space and easily slot in. MWM does not require you work with any specific vendors. The exception is the bar. Going with MWM also means that you can check one other box off your list -- they have a built-in, fully-stocked bar, with lots of options for how you want to manage alcohol. On the actual night of the wedding, Catherine made sure we were introduced to all of the staff, who were very personable, professional, hard-working, and generally dedicated to making sure our guests had a good night. We highly recommend going with Machines with Magnets!

We had a birthday event here, and it was great! What a nice venue - the staff was friendly, the sound system was good, the decor was lovely, and the dance floor was great! It's not huge but it's very cozy.

I hear there's a competent recording studio here, but I've only visited for a show. Average prices for door cover & beverages. (There's a signature cocktail list (including clarified milk punch & a damn fine margarita).) Performance room is... cozy, but the staff is competent & seems to know how to make the most of the acoustically cramped situation. Still, if your band is much bigger than 3 people, you'll find yourself competing with your fans for floor space. And if you are LOUD, well, it's going to feel like a garage show, despite the sound engineer's best expertise. Nice selection of chairs and couches around the place too. And a cute smoking area in a jungle of trees & vines.

Beautiful venue. I've been in the smaller room for a gallery opening and the larger space for a live music show. Great staff and lovely bar tenders. Really beautiful, well lit interior.

Really cool place. Not the easiest to find if it's your first time going. A couple different rooms for shows or whatever. Small bar with all your basic alcoholic needs. Good times!

There are 2 bars, there's local art, and a complimentary food truck. These 3 are a great combination for anyone coming in for a great selection of beer, big place to seat your friends and chow down.
