Only met 2 nice people behind the counter one is gone.No surprise there I get the feeling some of us are not welcome.Hard to tell since they are hardly ever open past dark and if they are you get locked in while you make a purchase. Seems shady after dark I usually wait in the car and many times have watched someone from inside go out the back door and creep to the front.What's going on that these people are so scared? Must be nice you have a somewhat new business but can afford to open for only a few hours a day.Must be nice.

Prices can be higher than a grocery store..some is understanding..this is a mom/pop store that has made the rural areas around it thankful not to have to drive 10 to 15 miles for an item Kings has...most of the employees r pleasant & willing to provide excellent service...but there is always A bad apple n the bunch.....

Great food from the kitchen the shrimp & grits are excellent! The counter staff could use some work however. I was making a 32. Oz soft drink and was yelled at from the counter that "we don't got no lids for the 32 oz. Drinks so I dont know what you gonna do"..... and a couple of the ladies dont like the public or customers as they are very brief. Most times they are often snappy to hurry you out, or evidently they just don't like me or any of my crew that stop and give our patronage

I had a whole cotton shirt over my nose and down for a "mask" and lady refused service because SOMEHOW a thin mask is supposed to be better. I'll keep my other comments to myself but thats ridiculous. Only place out of EVERYWHERE else that wants specifically a special type of mask. If you going to specify a type of mask to wear, at least say one equivalent to a respirator because the disposables and other fabric stuff they sell in stores to include one she tried to sell me don't actually do nothing but keep saliva from coming out your mouth

If you don't mind the wait this is a decent gas station. Certain cashier is really, really, really slow. They do cook here and the food is good. Store has a good selection and it's clean. I agree with others, gas prices are high but it's out here in the country so it is what it is. Better than Carter's by a LONG SHOT!
