I always love stopping here at Sad Sams! It's just a great little gas station with a cool store inside. They have food, drinks, and snacks as well as a bunch of fireworks and souvenirs. The staff and owner are super friendly as well. There are several statues around the property that are a fun place to get a pic as well.

The best store from cross plains to goodlettsville. I mean where else can you get gas,, food,,,and fireworks at the same time. Plus the cashier is always so nice

Corndogs for breakfast and chicken that's been sitting under a light since 7am for lunch. The clock of whoever cooks here is broken. Every single gas station with a kitchen within 10 miles from here at least has some breakfast food at 8am. Cashier is always nice though so I added a star. Sam truly is sad.

Don't like the name...it's depressing as hell...and the way the isles cut you off was very confusing. Couldnt really shop for souvenirs and the ones they had... Sam's I wouldn't buy those for anyone...time to change that name and get with the program ..and I did LOVE that Indian! I would do a marketing thing..whoever is tallest person to the Indian for a month gets $.05 off a gallon..or you can choose to redeem for 2 Large Fountains Drinks.. right then...

Cool place and great people who work there. Purchased gas for $3.29 a gallon. With a .05 cent discount, I paid $3.21.

A good place to go for fireworks. They have a really great selection at prices that put the tent vendors to shame. A smart person would go and stock up before the holidays get here.

It has stuff. Not a lot but stuff. Fresh hot food and the construction workers seemed to love it. It not a quick trip but will do when you have to pee.

Neat little stop along the interstate. Full convenience store options, including hot food. Cool little trinkets and souveniers as well. Not a bad little stock of fireworks either! Black Cat, Cherry Bomb, and several other brands available with everything from the small stuff (firecrackers, M80's) to the bigger aerials (canister shells, artillery shells, cakes etc). Very nice beer selection too!
