Do not use this place. This will be my second post and I will continue to post until issue is resolved. My truck has been in their shop for 10 months. I am not going into all the details, but no one should take 10 months. The updates most recently have been we have "No Status". I don't know if they don't care or if they can't fix the truck. However, don't use this repair shop

Go anywhere but here. If he does his family wrong, he will do it to you to. AVOID at all cost. Here is the message Cass Choate sent me. He's a so called great Christian man. I've paid him over 20k to work on my truck and he never warranted anything. (Matt, you can unfriend me. I have no respect for you. You've given me, nor anyone in our family reason to. Just unfriend me.) Evidently 20k and being family doesn't get you respect or any warranty here. I'd be very leary of a business that had their sister leave a bogus review to cover up all the negative reviews.

When I brought in my truck for repair it was done efficiently and the communication was excellent. I was updated on the work and when I picked up my vehicle the staff was friendly and helpful. Honesty and hard work are rare things these days . Happy to have found it here!

Since i can not comment back to the other page i will just leave this one on here in regards to the L&S Diesel Repair & Automotive claim. Lets get this straight i did not pack the engine with vaseline. But you denied warranty long before that was brought up. I have been building motors for years and have always used vaseline to pack the low pressure gear pump on a gerotor style oil pump system. Because it only creates more suction to get oil to the engine faster and does not need to be melted first. But you should have checked the windage tray before sending the engine back to me because the bolt holes where the pick up tube bolts on are stripped out. So looks to me like you caused it to starve for oil and didnt want to pay for it. But that just puts that much more proof in my pocket that i did nothing wrong it was on yall the whole time so you can take that bs of we would have stood behind it if it was truly our fault and go lie to someone that don’t understand how that motor actually works. But J&K Engines has my business from now on because there engine was assembled the same way yours was and it is running just fine. And to answer the vaseline question to you i was actually out when it was installed and used lubriplate assembly lube which from what i can tell yall did not use when you put the motor together originally.

Had a transmission go out on my 6.4 diesel. The shops here in Nashville were booked and Cass was able to get me in sooner. Had it towed to him, 172 miles and I’m glad I did. Very happy with the build and the warranty that came along with it. Cass personally had rebuilt it himself. He upgraded the internal parts, pump and came with a Precision converter and the price was good. For a small shop they do a lot of great work. They stayed in touch with me during the process, the office staff is great to deal with also. He drove the truck for me for two days to make sure it was all good. Came to pick it up and Cass went on a road test with me and talked me through how the trans would handle with the upgrades and educated me on many other things about the 6.4 truck. Cass is a plethora of knowledge for sure. I will not hesitate to use this shop again. He took me on a tour of his shop and talked about his growth of his business and the new equipment that had recently arrived. Which is of the same that Jack Roush uses for machining. Many good things coming his way, good down to earth guy to deal with. Thanks y’all!

They broke my dipstick, broke a bolt off in my valve cover, tried to jb weld it, leaned on my plastic 90 that went into the head and cracked it, and my truck runs rough. It isn’t smooth any more. I’m just extremely disappointed in this place. I shipped my truck over a thousand miles to their shop because I thought it was a good shop but I was wrong. The owner, Cass, will tell you anything for it to be your fault and not his. He absolutely will not be responsible for anything. He acts like a 5 year old kid

I was traveling for work and my truck started making a ticking noise. Very concerned i would not be able to make the trip home while pulling a 20 ft trailer, I stopped at diesel doctor first thing in the morning. Cass was extremely helpful and able to diagnose the problem within a few minutes. He was also able to give me very helpful guidance with a separate issue as well. Just wish his shop was in my town. It has been a rare occurrence for me to come across someone that was able to solve a more complex mechanical issue as quickly as he did. I was impressed.

Cass and his staff very friendly and professional. Helped me with the issues of my 19 year old truck and now is running better than it ever has. Cass explained to me what was done and why with detail and now a customer for life. Highly recommend with very fair pricing. Anybody with a diesel truck will not go wrong getting great service here!

Spent years trying to find a shop that does good honest work and this place is it!! They can do anything from A to Z. If you need or want any work done do yourself a favor and just swing by and check out there shop. The first time I went to the diesel doctor was about 6 years ago. Can't believe how this guy has grown in just 6 short years. But when you see the kind of work they do compared to other so called diesel shops it no wonder there doing so good. I have read a few bad reviews and don't understand how anyone can have anything bad to say about this guy or his work. He works 70+ hrs a week at his shop and puts in another 15 or so reading and learning new stuff every week. The only thing I can think of is there is a lot of people out there with diesel trucks that shouldn't have them. Just because you can afford one doesn't mean you should own one. That is why there having all the problems that there having. My first truck that went to his shop had over 1 million miles on it and I never had any problems with anything he ever did to it. I now have 2014 Dodge with just over 460 k and I still haven't had any problems with anything they have ever worked on. And I run 3500-4000 miles a week every week. So I hope this helps anyone that is wondering were to go.... You found one of the best diesel shops that there is if you come to Diesel Doctor and see Cass....

I would and have recommended Diesel Doctor to all my friends with diesels. He can work on all makes from bumper to bumper. I have had my truck in there a few times and very professional. Treats your truck as it is his own. I tow a 14000 lbs camper and never had to worry if it was done right. I have call and ask question and he take the time to answer and that says a lot because I know how busy they are. Would i go back? YES! there is no other diesel mechanic I trust with my truck. Keep up the good work!
