What an amazing place! It’s fun to see artists at work and to see art in all types of mediums. Great place to find unique gifts! Some street parking or lots nearby but usually expensive.

So much art! What a great place to check out many forms of art from watercolors, mixed media, ceramic and glass. Some of the artists were there and were extremely friendly. This is a destination in Old Town with so much history. Don't miss it!

A huge space filled with individual artist workshops, studios, and galleries. Everything from paper mache to accessories and paintings. They have public bathrooms and entry is free. A place to check out lots of different types of artwork on a very laid back setting. There’s also information about the building and it’s history.

Attended wedding and reception. Parking was directly across and easily accessible. Streets are are tight and narrow with a lot of bike and foot traffic. Nice place for an event and walking distance to to Potomac waterfront for pics. Great view of Wilson Bridge 🌉.

Always love the Torpedo factory and the fun art they have to offer. I came here recently for The Taste of Art event and I have to say it was pretty great and I really loved it, but wished they have some more interactive activities for adults / food vendors, so I hope the next one has more cause I would attend again. Really love that they're dog friendly cause Loki loves coming in here and checking out the art as well. Overall definitely a great place to pop in and check out if you've never been.

- place was pretty cool, has lots of different art like painting's, sculptures, jewelry, and lots of different things. - place is clean and organized. - has public restrooms, that are normally clean. - parking is hit or miss in the area. - prices vary depending on the shop, artist and what it is. - everyone that works there at least the few I talked to were super friendly. - overall a cool little place to check out. I'd recommend this location.

The Torpedo Factory Art Center is not only an incredible asset to the city of Alexandria and the art community. It is a beautiful wedding venue. The space is a chameleon, enabling artists, and brides to really make the space their own. I highly recommend visiting and their amazing events coordinator, Deri!

A historical torpedo factory which the buildings is repurposed as nation’s largest community of working artists. 3 stories building filled with the exhibits of torpedo factory historic, the art school, an archaeology museum and different types of arts studios and if you’re lucky you’ll meet the artists yourself. Each level has their own restrooms area, which all of them are very clean! You’ll find hand sanitizer almost in every entrance/ exit area. Parking garage are all in walking perimeter around, starting $2.50/ hour or $10 max on weekdays and $5 max on weekends.

We happen to walk by this place and I’m glad we went inside. Unexpectedly large ex-factory with three floors of artist studios. There was a wide range of art styles with affordable small pieces available. We ended up leaving with two prints and got to meet the artists directly. Super cool and will come back again. They also offer art classes and workshops!

It was a lot of fun seeing all the different types of art and artists. There were 3 floors of awesome art and super creative people. They offer classes and so many other cool things. Not allowed to take picture while in the studio of course but very nice art work. I would have liked to know more about the building as well.
