Been here many times and it has been consistently good. Had the Mojo burger with fries and a salad and draft beer, everything was delicious. Lorraine is awesome. Love the bar area which was playing good football, always a plus! And it is well kept. Will definitely be frequenting more often.

We stopped in here as our lunch break during our first ever Spyder Group Ride! It totally added to the fantastic day we had. The burgers were so delicious. The group took up almost the entire bar area but the employees didn't miss a detail for the orders. Good food, nice atmosphere and nice people. Will stop in again.

Had confirmed a 2:15 reservation for a small going away lunch. Drove an hour to get there and was denied at the door. We were told they had “low staff” and “called everyone with reservations to cancel”. However, No one called anyone in my party. The lady was completely rude and unapologetic. Must not have realized I just drove an hour to pay her. Wont happen again.

Griffin Tavern was so great! My husband and I visited after driving out of Shenandoah National Park and hiking all morning and we were craving some good comfort food. We both got burgers and they were SO delicious. The fries that came as a side were perfectly crispy and the house made pickles were such a lovely addition. Looking forward to coming back here sometime again when we pass through Shenandoah! Bonus: Pups are allowed on the patio and welcomed by staff with some treats and water bowls.

My friends and I were riding our motorcycles through Flint Hill and decided to stop at Griffin Tavern for dinner. This is such an incredible spot! The staff was very friendly, and the entire restaurant was quaint and felt like home. There were ample seats outside so you could enjoy the weather. I ordered the fish and chips, which was excellent!! I highly recommend you stop in for a drink and a meal!

We ate in the bar tonight with first come first served seating! Another great meal (ate it too fast to get a pic) with wine and desserts! Can't go wrong with a stop here 💕

Easy to make same day reservations on a Wednesday evening. We found the parking lot very busy in such a small town. We were offered indoor or outdoor seating and chose to sit in the art room. Our server was friendly and helpful with choices. We had the steak and frittes and the charcuterie board as a meal. Both meal choices were delicious and had great flavor. If you're in Flint Hill, it's the place to go.

We went here for lunch and sat in the bar. There is other indoor seating and heated tent covered outdoor seating. Interestingly, some hikers were having lunch in the back yard grassy area with their own portable propane fire pit enjoying take-out food. I had the bangers & mash and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were quite good. The atmosphere in the bar is warm and the bartender was eager to help work up a Boulevardier cocktail for me and wine for my wife. I like this place and it is the 3rd time I have been there.
