This five star review is for ONE particular Chase employee only. Her name is Treyana. She went above and beyond helping me finally get my account straightened out after the back office had flagged it for fraud multiple times for no reason whatsoever. She sat down with me and had the issue resolved within 30 min. So here’s a big shoutout to her! Oh and Chase, pretty please with sugar on top; Get your proverbial $&!? together! I spoke to 20 thousand agents with Chase and Capital One trying to open up a business account and transfer money from one account to the to other. They kept blocking me for fraud. Either take off the online option to open a business account or do something different because I can see from the reviews I’m not the only customer this has happened to. Pure silly. Nonsense.

The ATM took my cash deposit and then broke down didn't even give my money back I went into the bank they don't service that ATM called chase was on hold hour and half to have a 3 min conversation about the broken ATM never again will I use a atm to deposit cash or checks my lesson is learn

I moved to Richmond and needed a bank in town. I looked online and found that Chase was in Richmond. I could open my account online and with that and setting up direct depoist will be given $225. I did that was given my account number and sent an ATM card. I set up to have depoist sent as well. Five - six days later cannot log into to my account. I call the 800 number was told my account has been closed and thats too bad for me. I call again and get told the same thing. I go into the branch and the branch has to call the 800. Heres the thing the bank has my money and will send it to me in 15-30 days. If i want to open a new account with them I can. Why would i do busness with them. I asked them if i open an acount what will be done for me. The person on the phone stays with his scrpit. My account is closed and thats too bad for me. We have your money and we will send it to you in 15-30 days. waste of time. I knew a bank would not give out free money. NO wonder they offer 225 to open an account. You open the account put money in it and it gets closed and you have no way to get your money.

Drove 2 hours r/t to make a wire transfer. Was told at 101pm that it would be done with in 30 minutes. It was flagged for fraud, so they cancel it. I called at 230 was told it was still sitting in que and would be done by 5pm. Didnt happen. Sat on hold for over 1 1/2 to talk to their security department who tells me they needed to identify my idenity. Guess my bank card and drivers license provided at bank; was not sufficient. Have been with Chase approximately 15+ years. Worst service ever! Now they tell me I have to drive back (drove from Williamsburg to Richmond to do this in person to start with!) I will drive back alright to close my account.

This morning my girlfriend and I misplaced our debt card so obviously, the card was not with us. Normally, we only use Paypal or Chime because we have never been big with banks. Due to us getting a new job that is connected with Chase and Chase banking, we opened an account with them. As we were freaking out this morning over the card that had all our money on it and worries that this Chase situation would be the same as dealing with Paypal - we were COMPLETELY thrown by the fact that when we called the Chase bank location off of Parham and Staples Mill that they were so nice and genuine. When my girlfriend walked into the bank, she said shes never dealt with a bank that had such nice and amazing people working for it. Let me just say that I've had a lot of dealings with banks that were horrible and made it so I never wanted to use a bank again. This location, I have to say was the best service we have ever had. My girlfriend came back to the car after going inside and said, "These are the nicest and sweetest people I've ever talked to. As I walked in, I was instantly greeted by one of the employees that works in the side cubicles and as I explained how we were new with the bank, she spoke so genuinely to me and was happy to guide me to the front where Marie continued to help me. I only needed my ID and account info from my phone and boom, I was ready to go. They are by far the sweetest people ive talked to in a long time regarding Companys." We never leave comments or reviews but since its kinda rare to have a bank treat you so nice when your anxiety is running crazy and they calm you down - they deserve these 5 stars and a good review at the least! So thank you guys and please keep up the awesome work. You all know how to make a person feel like a human rather than just a number!

Melanie is fantastic! She really took her time to explain things to us (my partner & I) and helped fit us in due to us having to travel long distances to get to her. She one of the reasons why im still banking with Chase!

Please do not use the ATM machine outside. I deposited money into it and an error displayed on the machine and gave my card back but kept the cash. Branch banker filed a dispute and My money is now held up for a week before it hits my account. What a headache, avoid the ATM outside!

I have called them multiple times about setting up a new business account. They wanted me to do a phone meeting and set a specific time they could call me back. This is fine, but twice now I never got a call during our scheduald meeting time. Not professional at all. No one will do thier job, and they just push it onto someone else. I encourage others to take thier business somewhere else if they actually want good customer care. Tip: If you have a schedualed meeting please honor your agreements and call your customers.
