Lots of atmosphere. Sadly the fish for mt fish & chips meal was not cooked properly. Dried out & tasteless as was the coleslaw. Fries were fine. Repeat? Maybe.

This mcdonalds is not very clean. The bathrooms need a way to open the doors without touching them and please dont leave filthy bucks of water in the open.

When it comes to dining in, McDonald’s took something that was so simple and made it complicated by way of the kiosk. My mom is 78 years old and was VERY confused with the process and it took way too long to place the order. This set up is great for the new generation of mobile/kiosk ordering but it’s not friendly to the older generation which would not be able to figure the system out.

Watch out for this extremely rude shift manager at Hoquiam McDonald's. Her name is Margarita. We went through the drive thru to order and I gave them the code to earn points and we were using a different payment method. So McDonald's goes ahead and charges the card on file in the app. When we get to the window I go to hand the guy the card for the payment and he said it's already paid. I was like we didn't pay yet. He said they charged the card that was on file on the app. I said we aren't paying with that card and asked for a refund on that card. He went and brought back the 'So called' manager margarita and I explained to her what happened and politely asked for the card to be refunded. She begun to get an attitude and went on telling me it's not their fault and they have no control over the app charging cards. She said she couldn't give me a refund. I again asked for a refund she got mad and refunded the card eventually. I than tried to hand her the card we wanted to pay for the order with she then demanded we go inside and order because we were holding up her drive thru line. I said we shouldn't have to come in we were trying to pay and she said if we didn't leave the drive thru she was calling the police. I pulled up to the second window to try and ask if there was another manager on shift we could talk too. Here comes that Margarita to that window telling us to get out of the drive thru or again she was calling the police on us. I had 2 witnesses in my car. She was absolutely disgustingly rude. I informed her that I would be speaking with the actual restaurant manager and she laughed and said go ahead it's my last day. This lady has very bad customer service. So becareful if you encounter her at the Hoquiam McDonald's. Update: Called today 7/18/2022 to speak with the restaurant manager Angie about this incident she didn't seem like she even cared. She said I know my employee called me after this happened. She didnt even act like she cared what I was saying. This McDonald's is screwy try and avoid it.

UPDATE: the employees, managers and owner all choose to leave their dumpster wide open and could care less that it’s creating a public health issue. I saw maggots all over the ground near the dumpster and a raccoon in it the other night. Avoid this place like the plague. They now charge $1 for ice water. I get that costs are rising but cups are pennies to the dollar. I get charging .25 cents but a dollar? Dumb.

I try my best to avoid this place at all costs because the guy who takes your order who wears the black shorts with black nail polish and is usually there in the early morning, that guy is so incredibly rude to me and I have no idea why!! I finally just stopped talking to him at ALL anymore because he will literally ignore me too! Always acting like he hates everybody around him, like he's just plain miserable and mad. I worked several years in fast food and I never treat anyone working with anything but my upmost respect so when employees are overly or overtly rude to me it bothers me!!!

This is not my favorite McDonald's the atmosphere feels flat & dreary. Today our order was correct the frys were fresh ill give them a 10/10 for a good job done.

I had made my order and there were no problems. I went to the window payed with a hundred dollar bill and money no receipt and they were missing my apple pie.. then I was handed 1 sweet and sour with two 10 piece nuggets and two medium fry's. I asked for sauce she was very rude and laughing saying it was xtra, I then gave her a dollar and she hands me ONE more sweet and sour and my dollar back. This is so embarrassing and rude. That younger Mexican with black hair yeah no. Test your customers better girl.

Hoquiam McDonald’s is the only one in the area that consistently gets my order right. Every time. Kudos to the people taking and making the order, and to the managers taking the extra time to check for accuracy so I don’t have to come back.
