If Michelin awarded stars for art galleries, the Sandphifer would get three stars: worth a special journey. The range of the artwork is astounding----fabrics, pottery, jewelry, paintings, rope baskets, sculpture----and the quality is outstanding. Whether you want whimsy ( some wonderful paintings of animals) or beauty, you will find something here to love.

Wow! What a beautiful gallery with amazing art!!! This gallery is owned by husband and wife artists and my husband and I had the pleasure to meet Stephen. He is one of those rare kind souls that one feels blessed to meet. When he found out we were on a tiny budget and a gift anniversary weekend from my mom - he gave us a beautiful blessing of a framed fabric heart art piece. My husband and I both have hidden disabilities (he can not hear and I have a myriad of health issues) so this trip is extremely special for us. Stephen made it even more special and his wood carvings are gorgeous! What a terrific place to find art for your home, office etc!

This gallery is the nicest place in town. Everything is so charming! I bought a couple of prints and a pair of earrings and will be excited to check out the offerings the next time I come through Pacific Beach.

My family and I had the pleasure of discovering this gallery while camping at Pacific Beach. The gallery has an incredibly welcoming atmosphere and Stephen creates the gift of conversation that feels like talking with a good friend. We see the personal care and creativity in each item available and better yet, he is happy to share the vision and story behind each piece he and his wife create. We absolutely cannot wait to return to the beach and to Sandphifer Gallery.

My husband, friend and I were waiting for a restaurant reservation and stumbled across this very cute gallery. Took completely by surprise how delightful this little gallery/shop is. Really nice pieces of art work (many mediums! - paintings, carvings, drawings, etc!) and a lot of beautiful jewelry and other nice little gifts you can buy from local artists. Karin, the owner and artist was very friendly and relatable. None of us were expecting to spend any money, but my friend walked out with a really neat painting and I bought some beautiful little earrings for my mom. So glad we stumbled in! Very cute and very highly recommend to go visit and look around!
