Got the only rib, pork combo- 1/2 rack for $25.79 w soda. It was a bit more than I needed. The ribs were the exceptional dish, so when I go back I will settle for 1/3 rack for $14 plus drink I think. The sauce seemed mild and ordinary, but with ribs that great, all is forgiven. (posted by John Hardys addict)

Best BBQ I have ever had in my life. Worth every penny, love the inside and the selection of unique soda’s. The rub on the ribs is to die for! Will be adding this to my list of go to places, worth the hour drive from Rochester if your feeling the desire for BBQ.

They say you can judge a BBQ by their Brisket, but not true here. Their Ribs were Very Good, but their Brisket Was Horrible. Soft, Wet, Soppy, Fatty and Bad Tasting. Cook should have never served it. Ribs were very good, Macaroni and Cheese was excellent, Potato Salad was also Very Good. Nice Suprise for a small town, but really, why would you ruin a nice meal sending out that Terrible Brisket ??

One of the most amazing food I've ever had. Whole family loves it. Stay out of daughters way she will bite. This time had brisket and ribs. And still so soft and juicy and love the Cole slaw. Small but big place. People are very friendly . And environment is sooo welcoming. Thanks to the ones who make that meat . We drive all the way fr mazeppa just to eat there ..

Okay food and service. Unable to accommodate special requests such as substituting a different bun on a sandwich, even when the restaurant was almost completely empty and not busy. Order at counter, self service beverages. Had a chicken sandwich with fries and Cole slaw, a pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese with fries. Mac and cheese is zesty, like pepper jack cheese. One BBQ sauce on tables and one vinegar/mustard based sauce on tables.

I tried the smoked chicken. They serve up chicken with a mild smoke flavor that permeates through each piece, without drying it out. I wish there sides could be a bit larger, because I really liked them, but I must admit I left feeling full. I enjoy drives to that area so I'll go back.

Passed by here on motorcycle on the way to back to the fifties car show at the Minnesota state fair grounds one year and the smell of BBQ was enough for me to want to make another journey north from Illinois. Ordered the piggy squeeze with fries and Mac and cheese for the sides. Food was great, well worth the journey. Will definitely come back again

Stopped here a few times on motorcycle rides. On point with quality food; ribs are seasoned perfectly for my taste. sides are fresh and well done. Full bbq menu. Wide variety of craft soft drinks. Service is outstanding, dining room and service areas have been noticeably clean each visit; regardless of volume of diners... Grandpa's saloon is their full bar and the experience there was excellent as well.

Loved it/them! First time there..won't be my/our last! Great BBQ food with good sized portions AND prices! Plus, we loved the adjoining "Grandpa's Saloon." BOTH my wife & I, were very pleased with our experience in both places.

The BBQ is actually good. Not the usual disappointment of Midwest BBQ. Not dry. The BBQ chicken was smokey, moist, and falling off the bone. Brisket was awesome. Didn’t try ribs but by the looks of it, they’re good too. The pork skins were fresh if and crackling when brought to the table. Melt in your mouth. Paired sauce was perfect. A sort of chipotle mayo that was mild and flavorful. The beer in Grandpa’s Saloon was great accompaniment and they bring the food to you there.
