some of the volunteers are just plain rude.if you dont want to deal with people dont volunteer if you can smell the food is overly ripe dont put it in someones car just to get rid of it treat others as you would want to be treated

At first they were so kind towards me. They told me because of my income I can come every two weeks (I'm disabled) I did that and they yelled at me, and embarrassed me for coming 3 times the month before. So I come once a month, no big deal. Then I started picking up for another family, because they have to stay home and school their children because of covid, the guy loaded my food and started accusing me of lying. Its unbelievable and embarrassing. You think I'm proud of coming there? Absolutely not. However the food they give me helps myself and the other family out. I wish I can make a formal complaint because this is ridiculous. If there were another pantry I could go to, I would. But sadly, there isn't.

Sorry to say that most of the food you get there is out dated and the meat is freezer burnt the bread is so old you really can't eat it I give it to the birds and ducks I really can't believe that they can't give better meat then they do every time you get chicken people need to go to the Montello food pantry at least they give good fresh meat and for the holidays you get a fresh ham or turkey it's wonderful
