Drove 2 1/2 hours just to eat there. I was not disappointed. I had the COB combo. Chicken was good and tender buns seemed steamed and the sauce on the sandwich was awesome. A friend that went with me had the buffet. It was Friday and they had seafood. He had shrimp and catfish. He said it was delicious. So I highly recommend this restaurant.

First visit to this establishment. In Camden, AL for vehicle service at McGraw-Webb Chevrolet, another out standing business there. Had two Catfish dinners from Jackson's, it was the best catfish we'd had in a long time. Nice portions, two filets, very crispy and juicy. That cook knows how to cook catfish! The owner delivered our orders to the truck with an apology for the wait. She was very nice and made us want to come back next visit to Camden. We definitely will, there isn't a wide choice of eateries there but Jackson's is a treasure. Can't wait to try their fried chicken! Been coming down here since 2019 and Jackson's is by far the best place we've found for lunch!

It wasn’t bad, but I don’t get the hype I’ve heard. I had the chicken on a bun with onion rings, and they were okay. The building is not in very good shape; several ceiling tiles are missing or damaged and there are stains on the walls. Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes … More

I have wanted to go there for awhile. If it is good enough for Zuckerberg then it is good enough for me. We are in Jones, Alabama so we are 61 miles away. We drove the beautiful scenic roads to get there and arrived around 5pm. The building is pretty generic bit it is the chicken I was interested in. We went inside and the girls behind the counter were cheerful enough but then things took a turn for the worse. I had ordered three chick o breast sandwiches but she only heard one combo and I had asked for two spicy and one mild and I got one COB. We sat down to wait after ordering and waited about 35 minutes....we were starving too. A family of 7 came in after us and to our shock the waitress brought their drinks to the table about ten minutes after we ordered. WOW! So after many more minutes passed I sent my hubby back to ask about our drinks and he had to ORDER THEM A SECOND TIME. Someone needs retrained on customer service and LISTENING!!! So FINALLY we got our food.....oh yes the waitress did come to the table and say they had no wings left which is what my brother had ordered. At this point my crew was angry at me for suggesting this place. I still held out home for the COB. We finally got our food. The portions were good. The chicken breasts are HUGE!! There once was a magical place called CRISPY CHICK and they had a magical chicken sandwich and that is why I came to find that elusive treasure and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! Huge thick juicy chunks of breast meat on a soft hoagie bun with a tasty sauce and it has large slices of jalapeños in the sauce to give it that hot spicy zing. It was like being a kid again and my parents taking me to Crispy Chick. I was in chicken heaven This was worth the drive. Okra and french fries were good. Seasoned perfectly. They messed up my hubby's simple burger something fierce. He asked for no cheese because he hates cheese and he took it back and when he got it back the bun was wet and stuck to the paper and the cheese was scraped off. It was horrible. Some retraining needs to happen. COB was worth the drive for me but my husband and brother were unimpressed.

Chicken was good, but greasy. We did get there at 2PM. Chicken was under a heat lamp. I'll have to try it during lunch.

This place is fantastic. Quick counter service, a good variety of classic southern steam table dishes for lunch that are all excellent! Their fried chicken is absolutely among the best you will ever have and their signature COB chicken sandwich is everything people say about it and more! Be sure to order it with pickled jalapenos for an extra kick! Jackson's is worth going to, whether you live in Wilcox County, or are just passing through- a true community institution!

The Burger and Onion Rings were good, but nothing extraordinary. More greens for the Burger would be great imo. Both the Tenders as well as the Buffalo Wings were really good Biggest lackluster were the Dips, Ranch Dressing especially. Blue Cheese one was better but not great

I ordered the pulled bbq chicken sandwich without a bun. Wait staff asked 3 to 4 times if I wanted a bun...was I sure? Took nearly an hour for my meal to arrive.
