may 25,2022 14:58 I always have the most pleasant visits at this store. for the most part today was the same. the store was restocking there shelf's had probably 6 others in there helping with the process. almost everyone of them I passed was pleasant. all besides one guy. I was trying to get through the aisles like I said they were restocking so there was stuff everywhere. well I came across one guy who at the time I didn't know had stuff in his hand but there was two things blocking my way I assumed he would move it for me since I had 3 small kids with me but instead of offering to help he looks at me and says well some time today. I said well excuse me there is stuff all in my way. he said well I have stuff in my hands. I replied well I'm sorry about that but if this stuff wasn't in my way I wouldn't have taken so long. he then tells me I shouldn't have been playing on my phone which I wasn't I looked at it for two seconds and with an attitude he replies well sorry for the inconveniences if it wasn't for me having 3 small kids I would have left my stuffed in his way and went to the next store down the road. I don't appreciate being treated like I was an inconvenience when in reality it was an inconvenience for me but up until that moment I wasn't even worried about it because I get we all have jobs that need to be done.

Shelves are bare, no employees around if you need help, its dark and was dirty. We ended up leaving and just going to walter where its cleaner and more products on the shelf.

The evening cashiers are much more helpful and faster with checking people out. The best this store has had in 7 years.

Shelfs were not stocked in the pet area was a lot of empty boxes that had been there for 3 days or more.

If this is the one by my house in Berlin, Ala. I just love it.! The workers are great. Always helping when I need it . They are kind and they don't lag behind. They only thing I din't like is not being able to use my phone in there. It won't pick up inside. Thank you D. G. People!

Most racist dollar general I’ve been in I’m in a sling due to a construction accident and as soon as I walk in me and my gf are getting stared at we go looking at the chargers and a iPhone charger being $15 I’m not gonna buy that charger bc it’s way overpriced and the chargers don’t last long and the whole time we were looking at them we were getting stared at by a worker and we left we came back for drinks and were asked if we had stole a charger bc a worker had accused us and saw me put it in my sling supposedly and wouldn’t show us the video. when I got money in my pocket to buy one we asked for the manager and they said come in tomorrow morning and they wouldn’t even give us the managers number. Worst experience ever never been accused of stealing anything just bc I’m a Colored person walking in a dollar general.

This Dollar General is kind of pointless. If it actually had a little more groceries it would be a great store. Just a few miles up the road either way you have other Dollar General's with everything you need that any Dollar General can have.

I love the convenience of the store and the prices, but waiting in line is ridiculous. I have set my stuff down several times and walked out because there is a line of 8+ ppl and only 1 cashier. Most times they are stocking so you have to find them!
