The store was fully stocked of just about anything you could think of and more. Store was nice and clean staff was very friendly and helpful. 👍

They have an eclectic assortment of things bought big jar of tide pods, car air fresheners and my friend bought work gloves. It was kinda of fun just seeing all that they had, almost bought a drone. Cool stuff.

Not finding the awesome bargains anymore. Also, one of the managers probably needs to retire...I asked him to find a price for me on a mirror, which obviously irritated him, because he quoted me a ridiculous price of $170. Unbelievable!

Not ever crowded & great deals...but it really just depends on which fire sale or bankruptcy sale the trucks are from that week on what they carry. LOL

Typically I love Ollies. I love the products & the prices. Today I went in & encountered a cashier barely making any sense & extremely HIGH on something. Slurring & could barely talk or open her eyes. No manners & sounded like a drunk! I realize this isn't a Gucci store, but DO BETTER when hiring employees.

Great Prices, Employees are very helpful. The best place to get books in Birmingham! (Including the 2nd & Charles directly Next-door) Always a pleasent store to visit.

Great store here in Hoover. Items were in place, friendly staff. You could easily find items. It wasn't torn up. The place was pleasant to shop in, and the floors were so clean. Some of the Ollies I've been in were not so pleasant. Standards are very important no matter how the pandemic has been. I realize it's been tough for all. But when you go in and you feel the warmth of the employees, it makes a difference and the atmosphere says welcome to our store, then you don't mind shopping there and you can tell others to visit the store. The cashiers were very patient and knowledgeable. Thank you Ollie's. This happens each time I'm in this store. The others need some work, and employees. Even though they have a sign that says, "Help Wanted," it didn't make a difference. 👍🏼

This place is great for bargains and while some of it is cheap there are some good deals here. They have a good selection of books, yard supplies, children's toys, things for washing the car/truck, and many more items. You can spend some time just wandering around as there is a lot of stuff on the shelves. Happy bargain hunting!

I bought this slatted, floor shelf for $19.99. It's beautiful and well-made. I saw one exactly like it on Overstock.com for $57!!!! I liked it so much, I went back and bought 2 more. The shelf had to be assembled, and it included the hardware, including an Allen wrench. It was easy to assemble and only took me about 10 minutes. Shout out to Jackie, my sales associate. She was super-helpful and was very patient while I searched the web for a coupon. I search high and low for a coffee pot that brewed k-pods as well as traditional ground coffee. The cheapest I found was $89.99 (web and locally) until I ran across this Hamilton Beach FlexBrew at Ollie's for $69.99. It works great and I'm very pleased.
