This gym is amazing. It has any amenity I could ever want. Plenty of workout classes, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor track, sauna, weight lifting room, two cardio rooms, indoor track, rock climbing wall, ping pong, soccer, basketball, racquetball, pickleball, volleyball, dodgeball, pool table, and a smoothie/açaí bowl station!

Excellent facility with a large number of activities. Also has dependent hours which is quite useful.

Nice gym with everything you could need. Can't believe I waited so long to check it out.

Has everything you need for a good workout including sauna. High tech exercise equipment is great. If your not a student, but friends or relatives with one. Then, it will cost $10 each time you come with them.

A great place to work out, hang out, entertain the kids, etc.

Used it a lot during my time as an undergrad and quickly signed up for the alumni membership after I graduated as there is no gym in Mobile that comes close to the cleanliness and amenities that South offers. Plus, since it's exclusive to students and alumni only, I feel a bit safer working out here. Parking can be an issue however on weekdays, but I don't mind parking and waking in the gravel lot facing Old Shell next to the baseball and soccer fields. Good warmup walk. Go Jags!

Great place to workout. Just don't go around 5 to 8 because it's crowded. They recently bought brand new cardio machines.

Wonderful staff and great machines! Started working out here in January of this year after my resolution to lose 20 pounds. Now I'm 70 pounds down and I feel amazing!
