This place is absolutely phenomenal! I was out enjoying the day riding my bike and passed thru Altus. I never expected to find authentic chef prepared Cajun food in rural Arkansas but this was a surprise of the best kind. I had crab stuffed mushrooms, Mardi gras pasta, and a cup of gumbo, and they were truly outstanding. The best I've had since I moved up from Texas almost twenty years ago. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast. The food was properly spaced out in courses and each serving surpassed the last. This experience made my whole day and was definitely the highlight of my trip. I will most definitely be back! Soon! Highest compliments to the chef and staff of Alligator Ray's!

Wow! Such a surprise find. For such a tiny town, this was a huge win! If you haven't been here... GO! You won't be disappointed. The alligator bites were light, soft & perfectly cooked, the salad was fresh, the blackened salmon had amazing flavor and was cooked to perfection... & the topper at the end was a well crafted pumpkin cheesecake! (My coworker ordered the blacked redfish & it was also fantastic!!) Also, our waitress was excellent. Highly recommend this place if you're in or around Ozark, AR

Such a great little restaurant.. second time and both times the food and service has been amazing! We drive over a hour one way just to eat here.

Average but good Cajun food. Bar, restaurant, tvs, etc. High seating and low tables. I had pasta and was not impressed. Others had pizza and were happy with the choice. My recommendation? Stick with the cold drinks and pizza and you will be satisfied.

Mostly decent food. Mediocre service. My dish (stuffed shrimp) wasn't very good, but everyone else enjoyed their food. The crab stuffing was just pure mush and my shrimp was rubbery. My entree came out a good 5 minutes before everyone else's, and my side came five minutes after everyone else's. If you've ate at one Cajun place, you've ate at them all.

Wonderful little restaurant. The food was outstanding. Service was top notch. Their printed menu was small but they also have a LONG list of other items. Wish we were going to be in the area longer so we could go back again. Highly recommend. We had Etouffee, Mardi Gras seafood pasta and Smoked Boudin.

Everything was fantastic!! We had a couple of dozen of raw oysters, seafood lasagna, seafood mac and cheese, salmon over some fabulous sauteed green bean mix and red fish over sauteed the green bean mix. And the salads and house made dressing was really good. Loved the lettuce that they use. Everything was super fresh!! We will definitely be back!!

It was good. There are not a lot of options to choose from here so it was nice they had a clean yummy place. Their 7 in pizza was the perfect size for me. The staff was very nice.
