I visited friends in Arkansas during Labor Day weekend and am so glad they took me here to eat. Hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! The ribeye sandwich with pasta salad and gourmet potatoes was made to perfection and, by far, the best bread I’ve ever eaten. It would have been worth visiting Arkansas just to have eaten here!

For what it's worth, I'm not a big foodie. It's been years since I've been able to eat at the Wooden Spoon, and I don't recall the meals themselves that I've eaten there. I'm sure they were good, but they don't stand out in my memory. HOWEVER. I find myself craving their pies at least once a month, and I'm being completely literal here. I may not be a foodie, but I do LOVE dessert. And this place has some of the best desserts I've ever had, hands down. The peanut butter pie is a dream. expect a wait when you go, but I promise it's worth it. I don't know what went wrong for anyone to leave fewer than five stars, but I feel personally offended by it.

Delicious! Just great! Great food, pleasant atmosphere, outstanding quality, and an all around awesome experience! This is quality food, not fast food, and so the price will reflect that. Expect to pay a minimum of around $15 per person and that price will increase if you order a soft drink or a dessert. ( The desserts looked delicious ) You may also experience a long wait time, so if you are in a hurry, this may not the best choice for you. However, at some point, you need to make this experience a priority.

We had a bit of a wait (probably for to sitting break) but it was very worth the wait! Everything we had was incredible! The Waldorf Salad, Open Face Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes and Carrots, White Chicken Chili, homemade rolls, were so so good! Highly recommend! We are from Kansas and will definitely return! This place was fantastic in every way today. We were a few minutes past closing; however, they sat us anyway. All the staff were very friendly, there were fresh cut flowers on each table, and everything was so clean! The food was so delicious and fresh. We also bought a few cookies for the road, they were also delicious. Best meal we had on our 4-day motorcycle trip for sure!! We will be repeat customers on our next trip through. Thank you. We enjoyed and appreciated your great hospitality and delicious food!

Had the best Valentines day dinner. The food was fresh and seasoned to perfection. They were running behind for our reservation but it was Valentines night. Wait staff seemed a little over whelmed at times but with the food it made up for the wait.

Delicious catfish (with dill relish in the tartar sauce), excellent ribs (drop off the bones tender) AND the BEST Coconut cream pie (with the flakes crust I have ever eaten)! The owner, Justin Allen, is a gracious host, greeting and thanking every diner! A MUST visit when in NW Arkansas Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes … More

My favorite has to be the Ribeye Sandwich for $14.99 This to me is the best sandwich in the state of Arkansas. The meat literally melts in your mouth like cotton candy. Homemade toasty bread and a fun zingy dill sauce to dip in. Make sure and order your dessert ahead of time, yes they are that good! You will see little tiny toothpicks all over the desert in the case, every toothpick represents a dessert that are spoken for. Make sure and get your toothpick in early. I have never had anything bad from this restaurant, and today I think I might’ve had the best hush puppy I’ve ever had in my life! This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Arkansas, if not America.

Solid home-style desserts and okay food. I had something that turned out to be some kind of casserole dish. It was freshly prepared and if you’re into casseroles, you might love this place. I came for the desserts because several people recommended it. I need to amend the list of people that I’m willing to listen to going forward as a result of this visit. The desserts were OK but not worth the 2 hour drive that’s required from Bentonville round-trip.

The Wooden Spoon is a gem hidden in little ole Gentry Arkansas. Everything on the menu is homeade and made with love. They have a complete menu and then offer daily specials. Their desserts are absolutely amazing if you have any room left to put it! I went with my son, father and aunt. We all 3 elected to get the daily special which was the open face roast beef with mashed potatoes and substituted the carrots for macaroni and cheese and potatoe salad. Every single bite was soooo delicious. Afterwards, we got the bumblebee pie which is a pie filled with a mixture of blackberries/blueberries/strawberries and raspberries and we had it topped with a scoop of ice cream. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is clean with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff works very hard to keep everyone happy and drinks filled. There was a bit of a wait prior to being seated as I can tell is more than likely a common occurrence, but there is plenty of seating and rocking chairs out front to lounge in while waiting....and it's definitely worth the wait!!!
