Absolute worse experience I’ve ever had at a Dollar General and I’ve been to A LOT!! I couldn’t even concentrate on shopping because one of the female employees was griping about her job. She was talking so loud that I could hear her when she was at the front of the store. She eventually made her way to the aisle right next to me and was conversating and griping with a male employee. I finally just decided to leave because it was beyond ridiculous and extremely unprofessional to say the least; not to mention, I now have a major headache! I will NEVER recommend this store to anyone!!

I wouldn't say a star. It was very scary in that area. I had no idea, 2 dudes standing outside in Hoosier, most likely drugs. Then people coming in walking around, 1 followed me around I didn't get everything I needed, I left. The cashier was like here, she wasn't friendly at all. Maybe bc I was white.

The employees are always really rude. If you ask them to price check something or take an item off they scoff and roll their eyes.

The worst customer service in the city. The manager said I couldn't return something and I had a receipt. So I asked her name she said she can't give her name out. Man Marie and that older woman with the glasses are a horrible addition to this company. And you to Ms Alison

This was a malfunction junction without any function.. I can get down with chaos and disorganization.. But everything was everywhere and nothing was anywhere..a shipment had arrived, and the whole dg crew was there 'rearranging' or 'disassembling' the place....very thin, thin line there.. ..too many chiefs not a single Indian around.. Or too many managers and not a single dang employee?? At the same dg time....i would call it structured dysfunction.

Shelves empty and in the cosmetic section nothing's hanging under the right price. Then you go to check out and once again another location that says you'll have to enter your number again it didn't take it the first time. This morning really was the most frustrating visit because my shampoo was rang up 2 times and the chick said well it's only 1 over here...yeah right then her resolution was to just take it off and not get it. I told her just take it all off walked out as she's saying really.....yes really! I mean damn I came for what I got if you can't figure it out then why bother with any of it?

Less than one star. I went into Dollar General like I have 100's of times in the past. I recently got an apartment and like to pick up products with this company because on a budget I need to make every penny count. Today I had a little extra money only $60 but thought I should pick up an iron so my cloths could look nice for an interview tomorrow. They carry 2 kinds and I examined each to find which would best fit my needs. I picked the more expensive because it was a better product. I then started looking at baskets and a worker at the store takes the iron and restocks it without a word. I go to get my product and inform the gentleman that I was buying the iron and he gives me this accusatory attitude and walks away. I stopped the man and asked if the carried the 3 box shelves to which he replied they do not. To my surprise on the other side of the store was exactly what I asked for. A nice lady that had traveled from Mississippi helped me to find the product I requested. I then go to the register to pay and all boxes were being picked through... I politely asked why they were opening the products I was purchasing and was told that this gentleman informed them I was stealing and to go through my things. I was so embarrassed that now the employees and customers at the register thought that I was a thief, a scumbag criminal that couldn't afford to buy products from a dollar store... For some reason I still gave them the money that I had earned today after being insulted in such a way. To make matters worse this man with the terrible attitude that lied about products, profiled me as a thief was the MANAGER of the store. I would suggest taking your money to the Dollar Tree as it is cheaper and the person that is supposed to be in charge at Dollar General could care less about your buisness. His name is John and if you notice him lurking in the background as you shop be prepared to be labeled a thief if front of everyone at the register. I have emailed Dollar General and asked for a personal apology and will update with the outcome. Until than I'll spend my money elsewhere and suggest others do the same.

Horrible Customer Service!!!! A Bunch of Excuses why the Customer Service is Bad. It reflects the Leadership from the District Manager down to the Employees!! Instead of telling a Customer "You have nothing to do with the System when it is an Error. How about saying. I am sorry this error has Happen. Let try to get it resolved for you. What is your name and Number. We will forward this problem and your concern to the appropriate department. So this is no longer a problem. I will be calling the Corporate Office maybe they can Train Justin Hancock in Customer service Do's and Don'ts!!!!

They were great to me. Bought my son a pair of sweat pants from there. Saw small hole in them. They roll then back no problems. They were very nice there
