There is a reason that they are the top reference partner of ProJect and among many other Audiophile brands in Orange County area. I can be assertive to state that any clients would not receive much dedicated assistance from an online store when compared with Scott Walker Audio. Much more recognition deserved.

I purchased Magico A5 speakers from Scott Walker Audio. Scott and Colby drove them to our home and set them up. The process took a couple hours and was done meticulously. I am quite sure I could not have squeezed the last drop of goodness from these speakers the way Scott and Colby did - but they did! In addition they placed a number of HFTs from Synergistic Research strategically around our listening room. All done with plan and purpose. I cannot exactly explain the HFTs, but I can tell you that they improve the sound, sound stage, clarity and imaging significantly. While the speakers are still breaking in, they immediately sounded spectacular, and will only get better with time. I found Scott and his entire team to be extremely knowledgeable, willing to go out of their way to be helpful, and unlike some other high end dealers I have experienced, all done without arrogance. I highly recommend Scott Walker Audio, without any reservations.

Purchased a used piece of gear from them a year ago that was supposed to have been verified by them as being in excellent condition. However, operational condition had been misrepresented. Apparent they didn't do much past turning it on and pushing a few faceplate buttons. They certainly didn't connect a pair of speakers or test the remote (which had been damaged by badly leaking batteries that were still in the remote). Also, though it was a factory remote, it was not the remote that originally shipped with the unit. Communications fell silent shortly after. Ended up costing an additional $1400, and a lot of extra time, to have unit repaired and source a replacement factory remote. However, they did a very impressive packaging job - best I've seen for a heavy unit that did not have its original shipping box, but the praise ends there.

I've purchased a few used items from SWA in the past year and they are always in top notch condition at no nonsense pricing. Most recently on a pair of speakers Scott demo'd them for me, answering questions about alternative models I inquired about, and spent some time going through his recommendation for placement methodology, which was greatly appreciated. Very knowledgeable also - I recommend SWA !

Just over ten years ago, I bought a pair of pretty awesome speakers from Scott Walker Audio. Scott coached me through making a pretty big financial decision, gave me time to listen and make decisions at my own pace and then gave me a extremely fair trade-in deal on my existing speakers. At the time Scott told me that while making the sale was important to him, it was more important to him to make me a satisfied customer, which would mean that I would continue to come back over the long haul. And guess what? I’ve kept coming back. Building the right system is an iterative process—you get a new set of speakers, that whets your appetite. How can I leverage that improvement to be even more: A new turntable? A different amp? Better cables? Intended or not, each successive acquisition acts as a kind of prerequisite for the next one. Scott has worked with me to make the best decisions in that 10-year journey. And I’ve never felt pressured or pushed to spend more money than I was comfortable with. Moreover, he provided guidance about finding the best combination for my relatively small space and optimizing my equipment with time spent setting it up and configuring it—sometimes in successive visits after installation. Here’s a good example of how Scott works: I got the itch to replace my (superb) turntable. I had my eye on one that wasn’t all that much better than the one I had. Scott told me I already had a great turntable and would get much more bang for my buck if I replaced my tonearm and upgraded my cartridge. He was right—the improvement in the quality was flat-out astounding. But here’s the thing: Scott made less money off those amazing “tweaks” than he would have by selling me a new turntable. Go figure! The audiophile world can be a jungle. The pressure to upsell is ever-present. And there’s often a kind of snobbery about “lesser” brands that pushes people to make decisions they may later regret—certainly financially, but also picking the wrong equipment for their actual needs or the space they live in. I have never felt that remorse with Scott. He was right 10 years ago: the relationship and trust you build is everything and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Let me start by saying I live in a rural area as far away as one could be from Scott Walker Audio and still be in the US of A. Scott and Colby did everything they could to make me feel comfortable in my purchase of a very large and heavy speaker set. I received excellent communication throughout in all forms…email, text, cell and that seemed to be almost any time even with our time difference. Needless to say all went without a hitch and I received my TAD speakers in beautiful condition thanks to Scott and his crew. Thanks to all at Scott Walker Audio for a great job!

AMAZING experience here. I am still pretty green when it comes to audio equipment, but i know top tier customer service. Colby helped get me set up with a turntable to fit my needs and stay in my budget. Took time to explain the ins and outs to me and even helped me get it set up and demo it in the store. No pushy sales tactics and spent really focused 1 on 1 time with me even though i wasnt buying the most expensive equipment. I was intimidated stepping into the world of hifi audio, but Colby really made it feel accessible and earned a customer for ALL my future audio needs Thanks guys!

Thank you everyone at Scott Walker Audio! I’ve been going here for several years and have always had a great experience each time. Everyone is very down to earth and will spend as much time needed to make sure you get what you are looking for. My girlfriend just got into audio and I setup up a small system out of extra bits I had laying around. She ended up using it a few times a week for the past few months so I figured I’d get her something a little more modern. I contacted Kolby and setup a time to come in and addition some integrated amps as my girlfriend wanted something as simple as possible. We arrived and everything was setup and ready to go. They even went through and let her addition different components. We took a lot of their time and they were very nice and attentive during all of it. Scott and Kolby put to feather a good team of specialist. We ended up leaving with a few items and my girlfriend is beyond happy with her new system. Thank you everyone at Scott Walker audio!

I found SWA through Audiogon. I purchased a pair of B&W 803 D2's from them Feb 2020. The photos of speakers online were very good and representative of the condition exterior condition. That said, they did not remove the tweeter cover to inspect/photograph them. Upon receiving them (shipped CA to FL) and inspecting, I noticed that both tweeters had damage. I contacted Colby who I worked with on the deal and he brought Scott into the fold. I have to say, I was impressed with Scott's response and upfront willingness to do what was right not only in offering to accept the return if I wished but to also replace the tweeters if preferred. I chose to keep the speakers and they sent me replacement parts promptly and rectified the experience/issue. I agree with one of of the other reviewers that email communication was not as prompt as may be desired; however, by phone/text they were quick to respond. All in all a quality audio adviser/dealer.

What a first class experience working with Scott Walker. Not only is Scott the most knowledgeable dealer I have worked with, he carries the best brands out there! Recently I upgraded my system, adding Magico S3 speakers and the new Synergistic Research Atmosphere Level 4 speaker cables and interconnects. I could not be happier with the performance! The accuracy and dimensionality of the playback is second to none! Scott truly understands which components pair well with one another. He works with your budget, gives excellent advice, and even lets you audition gear in-home before purchasing. I highly recommend working with Scott. He is the perfect dealer to help take your system to a new level...far beyond your expectations.
