They have new healthier options!!! I usually get these whole grains (see pics) at other stores and then pick up my produce here, but know I can save a trip! I hope they continue carrying these products here. They also have a restaurant in the store and freshly made salsa and Tortillas.

The manager at the kitchen is horribly rude. We ordered a Ham burrito and she made a chorizo burrito. It wasn’t a big deal until made sure to ask her if she was giving us a ham burrito she lied to our face knowing it was chorizo she told us it was ham. She didn't even bother to look up at us while she responded. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla and the chicken was completely burnt and dry, it was not even edible. Don’t bother buying any food from the kitchen. We threw all of our food away. Wasted money.

Great atmosphere and large selection of international foods. Great prices on meat and seafood.

Worst place ever. Unleas you uave no other choicw i would recommend avoiding this place. Everything is overpriced. Inflation is just an excuse for price goughing. Avoid like the plague.

Great prices and has almost everything you need. The cashiers are nice but relatively slow.

For the most part I've had good experiences. The reason I'm giving only one star is because the cashier that checked me out was on her phone talking to someone the whole time she was ringing me up. I found it absolutely rude and unprofessional....and here's the kicker, this is why it was even more infuriating; she was an Assistant Manager.

Great place to shop. Wonderful produce and meat department. Harder to find some items though that you might find at some other stores but considering it's Hispanic based (that being a plus for most everything yummy! And the goodies they offer) so I have to stop off for a very small shop somewhere else for other Italian or white American oddities etc. that I might keep in the pantry. Prices are pretty darn good too. The hot prepared food portion of the store is tasty they do a really great job cooking and seasoning those offerings. Never waiting to long in the checkout line either.

I work all over the state and I love coming to Vallarta markets. They have fresh homemade food everyday trip with wide variety to choose from along with the tortilla factory and potato chip factory. Today I had the beef soup refried beans and all the condiments to go with it everything is always delicious. this is one of the smaller Vallarta markets but don't be fooled the restaurant area has everything all the other ones have they also have a bakery here with fresh baked goods as well. Great place to shop there are several throughout Bakersfield and other cities throughout the state of California.
