Home sweet home grew up a short distance from here. This store, rite Aid, was once called Thrifty's a long long time ago. Still same location, new name. Wish the pet shop still had animals in it though but sadly not. Only food and items needed for pets....

I went to a few places here. They all had what I needed and had friendly staff. Clean and organized.

Blue Jay village is the home of the world's shortest Christmas parade. Highlights are Jensens market and the small shops and restaurants.

Jensen's has some really delicious food finds. I bought their artichoke cheese bread and some honey-lemon-ginseng green tea.

Being new, it's not hard to see why it's so inviting . The locals are friendly and always willing to give directions to thos who are a little lost, as anyone new would know, is easy to do!

Small town homey village in the San Bernardino Mountains 5 miles west of Lake Arrowhead Village. Has a cinema, a lovely library, mountain thrift store with some awesome finds, a Jensen Market with a Starbucks inside, a great Taco restaurant where you can build your own burrito or taco and beer is $2 every day, a great Country Furniture Store and a burger fast food place across from the cinema that makes THE WORLD'S BEST FRENCH FRIES! There is also a Thrifty Store where you can get hand scooped ice cream!

Quaint. Small town feel. Only stopped to get a deli sandwich at Jenson's Market. Full supermarket. Bakery. Seems like a pretty good selection as we walked to register. Used to visit a lot in the 80s with my family. First time back since then. Ice rink is gone now a business center. 76 gas station still there. Movie theater. Not familiar any more with the rest if the town's layout or available stores. Did see a public notice to develop an area in the center of town into a resort. Unknown if it has already been approved. Hope not. It would definitely take away from the small town feel and cause a lot of traffic in a one lane each way town.
