We came here for brunch for my father's birthday. The cocktails were on the smaller side but good. We ordered the pizza special of the day as an appetizer which was delicious. I got the shrimp and melon salad which was underwhelming. We also ordered the curried fish dish and the steak and fries which were delicious. For dessert we got the almond pastry which was great with our coffees.

Farm to table dining at the beautiful Farmhouse in Newport Coast 🌷🌊 This restaurant sources all their produce from their partner farm & local farmers markets. I loved the environment since the outdoor garden is surrounded by vines and lush greenery. 🍽Ordered: 1. Curry & Coconut Crusted Icelandic Cod 2. Herb Roasted Jidori Chicken 3. Sea Scallops, Shrimp, & Mussels 4. This strawberry is drunk cocktail 5. Regier Farms Peach Crisp The menu is mindfully crafted and centered around seasonal ingredients. Each dish that I tried had vibrant flavors and was paired with fresh vegetables. Loved the variety in the menu and will come back next time to try more! 💰Price: $65/pp with drinks

Hostess: 2 star Server: 3 star Food: 3.5 star Ambience: 4 star I made the reservation 1 month before. It was okay place but not really impressive. It's a good place to maybe bring guests but i would rather go to other restaurants with better food & service since I am a resident here.

Stroll through the gardens for a few hours and build up an appetite - what a perfect spot to satiate that hunger. We didn’t have reservations but thankfully we were able to nab a high table near the bar. My partner and I each had a glass of rosé, Rosemary Parmesan crisps, while I had the flat iron steak and she ordered the cauliflower steak. My steak was phenomenal and she loved the chimichurri sauce that accompanied hers. Service was great and very attentive. Will definitely be eating here again.

The Farmhouse at Rogers Gardens is simply a beautiful space. Combining some indoor seating with predominantly outdoor seating, we opted to sit outdoors, which had us feeling like we were dining in a lush and sprawling garden. Our server Tom, provided us with very good service, taking us through some of his recommendations, and answering all our questions. My wife and I began our foodie adventure by sharing the Citrus and Avocado salad. The Butter Lettuce was accompanied by sections of Mandarin and Blood Orange, and Pink and White Grapefruit, slices of Avocado, Pine Nuts, and a very delicious Sesame Rice Vinaigrette. What an awesome starter! For our entrees, my wife ordered the Sea Scallops, Shrimp and Mussels with the Tehachapi Grain Project Blue Corn grilled Polenta Cake. I ordered the pan-seared Panko, Dijon and Thyme crusted Autonomy Farms Chicken Pallaird. The seafood dish had a generous amount of mussels, shrimp and scallops. The sauce contained some sauteed spinach and a pernod-based tomato broth with a hint of juniper berry (?) whisping through it, elevating it into a simply delightful, delicious and habit forming dish. We will definitely order this one again. The chicken dish was similar to a Japanese chicken katsu. Hints of Dijon and Thyme could be tasted in it's panko crust. The sliced chicken breast was moist and tender. The dish's vegetable medley of sugar snap peas, grilled red onion, roast turnips and radishes, and arugula with a lemon shallot vinaigrette was mighty tasty. The stand out sugar snap peas were the star, and we're some of the best and freshest that I have ever had. Unfortunately, the small drumstick that was included in the dish was not cooked through, being a bit red inside, so that took away from an otherwise very good dish. The slice of grilled polenta cake included with each dish was warm, moist and very satisfying. We both commented on how we would love to be able to buy a whole polenta cake to have at home with one of our own home-cooked meals. All in all, it was a very good meal, with only the undercooked chicken leg taking our review down to 4 stars. We highly recommend The Farmhouse at Rogers Gardens, and are looking forward to returning soon and trying more of Chef Rick Means very tasty dishes!

Party of 4 went for a celebratory dinner on a Sunday evening in April. We had a reservation and were seated outside. Very nice ambience and friendly service. We had the cheese board and short ribs to start with and both were excellent. I had the flat iron steak and I'd asked for medium well but it didn't seem to be. Anyway, the meat was good and delicious, so no complaints. The restaurant was busy, so probably why they forgot to give us any napkins at all. Responded promptly when we asked. I had the Drunk Strawberry drink and it was strong! Great experience overall. Definitely a bit on the pricier side.

I brought a date to the Farmhouse for dinner yesterday and had one of the best meals in recent memory. Incredible food and very friendly service. It's a little expensive but well worth it for the quality of the whole experience. I plan to go back.

I am not sure what happened. The Farmhouse was for years a beautifully decorated gem. It provided amazing service as well as food and drinks. The food and drinks are still really good , but the ambience is just absolutely shocking. I am not sure who decided to pitch this awfully looking , war-lazarette tent in the middle of this quaint place. I always loved the flowers plantings at Rogers Gardens Farmhouse. Most of the plants have now mildew due to lack of light and uneven watering what's odd considering this is such an "upscale" (extremely overpriced) garden nursery and design retail store. I know about the fact that the location plays into pricing, but yeah... I am not sure if this is a good advertisement. I really liked our food, as always! The short ribs were really delicious and so was every other thing we ordered. Our waiter was kind. Overall it's still a nice place. I hope to get the beautiful wooden tables , blankets and chairs back and that this horrible tent is getting removed. Pretty please !?

It can be a 5 star place. This place vibe, decor and atmosphere is the best. Here is inside of very nice nursery with very beautiful plants and flowers. You should reserve a table a head. We called 2 hours before 2pm and it was fully reserved! Anyway we served at the bar and it was nice even though the dining area is really nice and full of plants. We ordered beer and the best drink ever for me “swig of selflessness” strawberry, lemon, chocolate brandy! It was amazing. The burger and sandwich was ok as well. Nothing exceptional! I definitely recommend this place. $82 without tip.

Rogers gardens and the farmhouse are an adventure onto their own. It’s very hard to get into farmhouse I’d recommend going in an off day and or making reservations in advance. I slipped into bar seating but I had to wait over an hour and that was during the week even. Completely worth the wait every single thing I had was prepared perfectly. Paired exceptionally. And the service was pretty great even though they were super busy and it was during the holidays. I can’t wait to go back and try the seasonal or try more seasonal creations.
