I had the worse experience ever!!!!! While using my voucher for getting vaccinted i was asked to see my grades on canvas to verify it was me. I have never been ask to show my canvas profile while in the bookstore usually they just ask for my id number. She didnt even want to take my id she just wanted to see my canvas so bad.The chineese girl has something against African americans she made me feel digusted to even attend this school!!!! I dont recommend african american to go to the bookstore at this campus. This is sad that Long Beach city college feels segrated now.

This is the campus bookstore for LBCc. It has a wide variety of school supplies, snacks and of course books. The customer service is great and if they do not have the item you need the store will order it or give you another option on how to get the item you are looking for.

Horrible service, you can't get anything good in this bookstore and everything is too expensive for what there worth. If you say your open until 2pm on Friday then you shouldn’t be closed when I get there at 12:45pm. If you your going to be open, be open or take it off the door/google.

Super clean and neat, and staff very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. So needed a text book for my class "not even for this school" and they had it! Viking Bookstore FTW!

Fast and friendly service, I was in an out quickly. Would have been faster if not for urban shelf maze I had to make my way through to pay for my book. If this ridiculous security hendering "maze" is a main stay next time I would enjoy it so much more with flying monkeys and some little bookworms jumping out at me to give me a little scare. It's a hazard both safety and security wise.

Honestly wish I could give less than 1 star. This bookstore is overpriced and won't accept exchanges or returns if you have opened your product. Talk about a scam! I recommend you rent/buy online and go to any other store to get school supplies. The staff said "whatever" to me when I said I wouldn't be buying from them any more. I told her great customer service ma'am and then walked out the door. This just reinforces my decision to never to business at this store.

I've had great experiences here but I usually go during off hours when hardly anyone is there. (I hear it gets VERY BUSY) Clerks were constantly checking on me asking if I needed any help. If you decide not to take a class, it's easy to return the books. Just make SURE you know the return policy for your type of book!!!
