OMG, So Great we returned twice in 2 days. The scents and flavors; topped only by the knowledge, helpfulness and kindness of the staff, one of which may have been the owner. They also acted as “tour guides” to various other local shops and restaurants.

Small space but lots of interesting spices, salts, rubs, etc. TRY HERE! I don't buy store spices if I can help it. I drive to Murphys instead. Update: Since moving away from the area I can now shop online and have the spices shipped. That's convenient! (Please hit the "thumbs-up" if this post was helpful.)

When you open the doors to the Spice Tin. You are welcomed by variety of aroma, which is a delight for someone who loves to creatively cook. There are so many spices to smell and taste! It is all unique and brings excitement to your taste buds. Despite the price, I find it worth it. You are getting exceptionally high quality spice. When you cook with it, I will guarantee that heads will turn! The staff if very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much <3

We've been going to the Spice Tin for several years. I like their variety of salts and sugars. Some items are a bit pricey, but most are not. Lots of variety. The employees are very helpful. I enjoy stopping here when I visit the town.

It's a must stop every time we are in town. The Murphy's rub is fantastic on meat. The Vadouvan French Curry is delicious mixed with coconut milk and saute veggies. I also recommend the Palo Alto Fireman's hot sauce. Lots to choose from and great gifts

Awesome must go to place in Murphy's even you are not a food/cooking buff. So many things to choose from. I spent about an hour in here and it wasnt enough time. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. The slower even gave some free samples of spices and herbs to try. I will visit this store on my yearly trip to Sonora.

This is literally the best place for spices I have ever been and I use a wide variety spices in cooking! The selection of spices is amazing, they have so many unique spices you can't find in stores and the ones you can find in stores, well let me just say the Spice Tin's are better. I have been coming here for years and don't even buy spices in the supermarket anymore because the quality of these spices are worlds above what you would find elsewhere. Espresso sugar? Yes please! Garlic powder? Check! Jalapeno powder? Say what?! Homemade pesto. Let me say it again, HOMEMADE PESTO. Made by a lady in town from a special family recipe. It is legit. SERIOUSLY. I buy at least 3 every time I go. And the Worcester sauce. Folks, you can't make this up. This stuff can't get any better. I am a 6+ hour drive away from here and I make it a point to stop in any time I am in the vicinity. There is nothing I have had that I didn't like. Fig garlic roasted marmalade.....mmmmm. I rarely write reviews, but this place is a gem too good not to be shared with the world. If you are in the neighborhood, this is one place definitely worth checking out!!!
